This is the first "part" of the tour of Old Swedes Historic Site. The tour starts on the first floor of this house. The docent gives some information about the house and it's historical significance. You can only view the first floor. There is a gift shop in the house, as well, with some nice Swedish gifts and other items. Docent was very knowledgeable and friendly. Not much to this part in itself, but combined with the other places on site, it's very interesting. Small unassuming building, but filled with a ton of history. It wasn’t at this location originally, but you will learn more when you stop by. I highly recommend the full guided tour as it will be well worth it. They are well versed with the history during the tour that you would otherwise miss.
With the full tour, you will also learn about the cemetery and church history. Well worth stopping by to understand the early years of our country's beginning.

The church is next to a human waste sewage treatment plant and the smell will stick to your clothes and linger in you car well after you're gone. 3. And lastly, and least important to me personally but of note to other people, this church is in a really rough part of town. Lock your doors and only go during the day time. Tourist trap....
