Riverfront Wilmington — Attraction in Wilmington

Beautiful place for this small , beautiful boardwalk. I have visited here both daytime and night time. I prefer the night time walk on the boardwalk. It is safe for family, parking is cheap or free based on the location you are parking along the boardwalk. There are lot of bar or dining option but non has setup near the waterfront(it’s on other side of boardwalk), but you will get that vibe and feel. Nighttime skyline view of Wilmington’s downtown was mesmerizing. In summer time you will hear loud music from couple of restaurents/bar. Security keeps an eye on bike or battery mobile. Very clean , well maintained , secure but only complain I have is no public restrooms hence 1 star taken. I hope the property hears this request and make it happen. The more people comes here the local business blooms. A very nice bench areas on multiple spots on the boardwalk. You will definitely love this place to enjoy the beautiful calm summer evenings. Exploring Delaware I arrived at the waterfront, sun was too hot for me nevertheless I brave on… my tour was short but I was able to see quiet a lot. There are several lovely restaurants to enjoy a variety of cuisines including a market area. A walking trail going around the property looping between a variety of shops. I discovered a theatre which offers a variety of broadway shows (on my bucket list) and I was able to enjoy a quick movie at the cinema. All in all a delightful tour minus the sun (too hot for my liking 😂).. One downside people need to pick up after their dogs in the seating area overlooking the water, all the other areas are extremely clean 👏… The waterfront is right off the train...

I've always had a nice time at the riverfront. The view is incredible. Decent spots to walk. Good location.

However, one time I saw a strange little creature with two different colored eyes climb up from out of the water. It had stringy, root-like limbs almost like an octopus with some sort of deformation, except it had a bulbously oval head with a large snout and hair!

As it climbed out of the water it made a sound like a dog trying to gargle mouthwash. I was really frightened and I thought it was going to ruin my date. Only she was scared too and jumped into my arms. Although it was a disturbing turn to an otherwise beauteous afternoon, it worked out in my...
