My partner and I visited the Cypress Creek Nature Trail & Preserve in November, and it was the perfect time to go! The weather was great, and the greenery and clear waters were absolutely beautiful. It felt so peaceful walking through the trails, surrounded by nature at its best.
The hikes are short and super easy, which made it perfect for a relaxing stroll without feeling rushed or tired. Everything was really well-maintained, and you can tell a lot of care goes into keeping the place clean and inviting.
We loved how close it is to Wimberley Square—it’s easy to grab a bite or check out the shops before or after your visit. This spot is such a little gem, whether you’re looking for some quiet time outdoors or just want a beautiful stroll.

The water was clean and refreshing, the people were friendly and the preserve was beuriful, although it seems like all of the efforts to protect the banks seemed designed to keep people from accessing the river.
