It's wholly unfortunate that the spot their truck is in, is almost too easy to miss. It's tucked away in the parking lot of what used to be a bank. When I first moved to Austin from New Mexico, my first objective was to find some good Mexican food that wasn't watered dowb Texas garbage. I've found my self at the foot of many food trucks that couldn't cut the proverbial mustard, but this place is a taste of home. I guess it makes sense because he and I both grew up within 30 minutes of one another.
Barbacoa is an easy buy, but what got me was the campechano. He fried up the cheese till it became crisp and caramelized and then put it on the taco. I grew up in Mexico, and I can’t believe the best gringa I’ve eaten in my life was right here in Austin. The tacos de carnitas, tacos de barbacoa, and beef flautas were also phenomenal. 10/10

Ordered their enchiladas rojas to go and when they gave me the meal, it looked too beautiful to eat -- 3 stuffed enchiladas with a made from scratch roja sauce over a bed of rice, onions and perfectly sliced avocado. Flavors ah-maz-ing. You can taste the pure love put into every single bite.
