Winchester oldest home, built in 1754, is the Oldest house in the city. It is a place full of history to spend a pleasant time and end up relaxing with the view of the lake and the geese that are beautiful.

Very interesting home and log cabin. We visited the Visitor center next door first and there was no waiting for the guide. She was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

This is your typical old house museum tour. Which I really enjoy and try to do wherever I can. Great old house and mill and the staff were really enjoyable. Go!

If you like museums, then you will love Abram's Delight! This museum starts you off with the rich history of Winchester. Friendly staff, easy to get to, lots of historical facts. Clean bathrooms and a cute little gift shop full of items to purchase. I highly recommend purchasing a block ticket for $10.00. This ticket will get you into all three ( Abram's Delight, George Washington's Office and Stonewall Jackson) museums. It is...

She pointed out the items that are original to the house and the others that are from the time period but was not original to the house. She spent time on each section and was also asking questions to us about our knowledge so she can continue to learn as well( I have a BA...

Don't judge a book by its cover, I thought as the tour finished. I wasn't really excited about going on the tour, but then was so fascinated by the knowledge of our tour guide and the history of this landmark!! Definitely worth the $6 it costs to get in. We weren't allowed to take any pictures inside, understandably so. The location is right next to the cute...
