Ephesians 4:29 says, "Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen". Colossians 3:8 says, "But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth". Luke 6:45 says, "The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks" Language that is considered not Christian often includes profanity, hateful speech, dishonesty, and gossip. Read moreFor less than $20 I got a Ranch Chicken Wrap, Corn Dog, 1/4-pound Burger, BBQ Sandwich, a Hot Dog "Cook Out style" and a Mega Sweet Tea. You can't beat the prices! The below rating is on a scale for a fast food restaurant not a Michelin level restaurant, lol.
Corn Dog (Very enjoyable 8/10. Sweet batter style is good.) 1/4 Pound Burger was excellent. (Can't compare the burger with any other fast-food place. Taste like it was cooked outside on a grill.....yum 9/10). Ranch Chicken Wrap (Chicken was overcooked, my least liked item because the chicken was hard from overcooking. Really like the taste though. 6/10) BBQ Sandwich (I wish there had been more meat on the sandwich, but it was sooo good 9/10.) Hot Dog "Cook Out Style" (Heaven, I could pig out on the dogs, taste like it was cooked outside on a grill 9.5/10). Sweet Tea (The sweet tea was nice and refreshing 8.5/10. I'm from the deep south and we take our sweet tea serious, lol....so this is a very generous score).
For the price, quantity and quality I have to say Cook Out is probably one of my top fast-food restaurants now. Great place to pig out on some really good fast food with lots of variety and not break the bank. It's refreshing having a new choice that isn't just another stale burger joint.

Read moreWaited for a good 4 months before trying Cook Out so as to give them time to get established.
Well finally tried it today and found the food to be just mediocre, nothing that really knocked my socks off or made me want to return anytime soon.
Ordered the 1/4 pound burger combo with lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo on burger with the cheddar cheese bites and Cajun fries as my sides with the giant ice tea.
Well the tea was good but had to ask for more ice because there was barely any and my fries were regular even though I specifically ordered Cajun, and the burger.. well this was the biggest let down thinking it was going to be great but still only mediocre.
In my opinion and mine only I think Wendy's still has a way better burger in the Dave's single or any of them for that matter.
Oh almost forgot, the cheddar bites were probably the best thing of my meal.
Maybe if I come back I will try their pork barbecue or hot dogs, maybe they are what's best there??
Prices are pretty fair and matches the quality of their food,...
