Winona Lake Limitless Park and Splash Pad — Attraction in Winona Lake

The Winona Lake Limitless Park, to start with the positives, there are so many, the park is clean, the splash pad is free(how many places are free these days?), the playground equipment is newer, and well maintained. There are so many options for a fantastic family day of fun! You can have a picnic, play basketball, play tennis, hang out at the beach, walk or run on the trails, spread out on the grass to make your own game, or play at the splash pad. Because the police station is right next door I feel like whatever crime could be committed is quickly rethought, so I feel very safe being there any time day or night. Now for a few negatives (so you can prepare), first, if you are going to stay at the splash pad, the one restroom is a good distance away, so prepare for a walk every time you want to go pee. Second, the splash pad is next the public beach and lake so there is always lots of duck and goose poop! Since there is a limited amount of seating around the splash pad area it is a great idea to bring your own beach towel or water proof blanket to sit on. This is my favorite place to spend...

Such a fun time!! We enjoyed the beach, the lake was warm The lake did have lots of weeds but was otherwise amazing! The splash pad was fun for the entire family and the kids made friends with other children quickly! The air was filled with giggles and squeals of joy as they got a surprise splash! What a fun day!! Check out the little free libraries at the playground and grab a book to take home & read or drop some books off to share with others if you are done reading yours at home!! I wish I could give a better review to my local park but I just can’t. We are local to this park and come often. The restrooms(even the new ones) are usually out of soap, paper towels and toilet paper. More times than not there is waste on the floor or walls. With two little kids I dread when they need to use the facilities. The beach could be raked more than once a summer. If I were not a local to this park I would probably be quite shocked and not return.
