The Beaded Peacock — Local services in Winona Lake

I want to start off by saying they have a beautiful selection of charms and beads and rings as well, but I have yet to have a good interaction with the workers.

I was in The Beaded Peacock earlier today, and as soon as walked in I was greeted in a very rudely manner. One of the ladies who worked there did not even smile at me but had the audacity to rudely look me up and down, and hover over me as I was looking, as well as my other friend (who is also black) if I’m being racially profiled for truly no reason. I will not support a business like that.

this was such a wonderful experience. the owner, lauren, helped my friend and I feel completely at ease as soon as we walked in. the store itself is gorgeous, fill it with all sorts of different beads and stones and charms. you can make your own jewelry there, which is what I did. I made a beautiful chain charm necklace. you can also buy the beads themselves, see and possibly purchase local artwork, and attend occasional classes as well as create your own jewelry. she even has permanent jewelry....

I had my bachelorette party with The Beaded Peacock this weekend. Prior to this weekend, we did prep work and planning.
