Famous Tate Appliance & Bedding Centers — Attraction in Winter Haven

My husband and I purchased a Beautyrest mattress in April and our purchase experience was pleasant and helpful! The first two months sleeping on this mattress was delightful and then I started noticing stiffness and an achy back when I got up each morning and noticing that the mattress no longer had the same firmness and support that it had when we purchased it...mind you this was just over two months. I called our sales lady and she referred me to Ed, the manager! Ed sent someone out to examine the mattress (I believe his name was Doug)! I have never heard anything from the store manager or anyone about the mattress since that time which has now been many weeks. I have called numerous times and left messages for Ed to please call me with NO RESPONSE. I have no respect for a company who does not stand behind the products they sell and do not even have the courtesy to return a phone call. No more business with Famous Tate's for us!

P.S. I originally gave this ONE STAR because of the issues we had as stated above...within the last few days we were contacted by the new store manager and it seems our situation just happened to fall between the cracks because of one manager retiring and a new manager taking over! The new manager contacted us promptly and gave us excellent attention and service...we are now sleeping comfortably and are very pleased with the response and service provided by our local Winter Haven Famous Tate store...THANK YOU Chris for your quick response and attention to...

Bought GE Oven Range (GRF600AVSS) I started at Lowes price was the same but the delivery fees and plug was bringing the price to $900 went home got online and found the same oven at Famous Tate chatted with Tom online and then called the store and spoke to Salesman Anthony. The stove was same price as Lowes, delivery with installation (including putting on the new wire plug) was free and available for Sunday which was 2 days after ordered where as Lowes wanted to charge for delivery and wouldn't be available for 7 days. The 3 prong plug was 5 dollars cheaper at Famous Tate than Lowes too. Anthony walked me through the process over the phone. Went over the model, its features and how long the delivery would take and to expect a call the next day to confirm the delivery time. With 15 minutes or less on the phone with Anthony since I knew which model I wanted I completed the purchase.

As Anthony said their delivery service called with the appointment time, then immediately texted me with the same information and also emailed me the information.

Sunday the delivery was smooth as well. The two gentlemen who delivered it confirmed the plug I needed and installed it on the back of the oven. They took all the packaging and protective film off and brought it into the house. They tested the burners and oven. Picked up the boxes and took that with them. No mess to even have at the curb for pickup. 5 out of 5 stars all the way around.

Will be shopping the Winter Haven Famous Tate...

I have to admit, why it took so long to write a review, shame on me!

Because I have purchased so many appliances and beds from them that I have always loved and never had any issues with.

All the staff has always been very helpful, even if I only had a question. They have never been pushy to try to get me to buy, they are just knowledgeable on the merchandise and answer any questions that you have and if you’re ready to buy they’ll help you with that as well.

I have had their credit for a long time and I just purchase things on the credit and then I pay it off. The next time I need some thing, I go down and I purchase whatever I need next, and I pay it down. I’ll actually be going today to purchase a bed for my son. And I know I’ll get the best quality as that’s where I got my bed. I would highly recommend when you do buy the beds that you buy the bed cover as well, so that it covers the warranty. The only problem I have ever had was one bed that I had that five years, I did have to use the warranty on it and it was only because I purchased the cover and there was no stains on my bed and it was covered 100% under the warranty.
