Ulta Beauty Woodbridge, NJ — A Review for Alicia C.
I usually only hire makeup artists because I’m too overwhelmed to shop for myself, but wow, Alicia C. changed the game. Here’s the breakdown of my best Ulta experience ever:
Exceptional help from start to finish: Alicia didn’t just help me pick a primer and perfume—she curated a full look that fits both my workweek hustle and weekend fun.
Custom, keep-you-looking-fresh-at-work vibes: She tailored a look that’s polished for the office but rocks on the weekend too. It’s like she bottled “professional with a fun twist” and handed it to me with a smile.
Alicia’s glow-inspo is real: From the moment I saw her makeup, I knew I was in capable hands. Her face was beat to the gods, and her product knowledge was top tier. If makeup were a superhero, Alicia would be its cape.
Efficient and friendly: With a full-time job as a security installer and a weekend vendor at comic cons and street fairs, time is precious. Alicia made the experience painless and enjoyable, turning a usual “let me browse” moment into a guided, confidence-boosting session.
Value beyond the cart: I walked out with a complete look, happy with every product chosen, and actually excited to wear it.
No more “I’ll just pay for someone to do it.”
I’ll be back—likely with a playlist and a shopping buddy in tow.
If you’re ever on the fence about Ulta in Woodbridge or just need a glow-up that works for real life, ask for Alicia C. Trust me, you’ll leave with a smile, a great bag, and a newfound love for makeup shopping.
Five stars all the way. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Krystal Matthews CEO...
Read moreThis is the first time I’ve experienced this type of altercation at this Ulta. I’ve always gone there because I thought it was neat and the customer service seemed good… UNTIL TODAY.
I went in to buy a NEST oil perfume, but for some reason, they didn’t have it at the counter. So, as I always do, I asked a worker if they had it in stock and if she could help me. She responded rudely: “I have no idea, I’m going to the bathroom.” I ignored her and continued browsing other products.
Later, I went to the cashier to make my payment, and it felt like they just didn’t want to help customers. The same girl assisted me again. I asked her once more if they had the perfume in stock, and she instantly replied, “No, if it’s not there, it’s because we don’t have it.” I asked again, and she nearly threw the barcode scanner in my face.
I ended up buying the product, but the experience was ruined. And yes, the cashier’s name is SAMANTHA, who said she was from the Dominican Republic, had black hair, super long eyelashes, and glasses. Thank you to cashier SAADIA for providing her name. Both were working the evening shift, and I went in at 6:31 PM today.
I don’t understand why Ulta doesn’t train its employees to provide better customer service—it really makes things difficult for...
Read moreAlways had a horrible experience at this location. Very poor customer service and extremely unorganized staff who have no idea what they’re doing.
My first experience at this location was to pick up an order. One of the products was not scannable and they wasted 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get the product into my order.
My second visit was when I was having trouble finding a product in one of their aisle’s and again after wasting a hell lot of time and calling various staff members, I am told the product is discontinued but their website shows it as available.
Little did I think my third time could be a charm. I booked a hair appointment for 10:15am today and as soon as I get there I am told my appointment has to be rescheduled to a later time. That is just absurd. As a courtesy, I wish I was informed before but no the staff decides to tell me when I get there. Neither were they apologetic not were the bothered to provide satisfactory customer service.
Definitely never visiting this...
