Last weekend, we had the immense pleasure of visiting the newly opened Fidélitas tasting room, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I entered, I was enchanted by the beautiful space and the warm welcome from the amazing staff. It's evident that Fidélitas has poured their heart and soul into creating an exquisite sanctuary for wine enthusiasts, and I'm thrilled to share my impressions with you.
Upon arrival, the stunning architecture of the tasting room instantly captured my attention. The modern yet elegant design, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, allowed natural light to flood the space, making it feel warm and inviting. The lush greenery surrounding the tasting room not only provided a breathtaking view but also perfectly complemented the natural materials used in the interior.
However, the true stars of the Fidélitas tasting room were the incredible staff members. From the moment we entered, they treated us with the utmost care and attention. Their knowledge and passion for the wines were truly remarkable. They were more than happy to answer any questions we had, making the experience educational and enjoyable.
The wines themselves were nothing short of spectacular. I had the pleasure of sampling a diverse range of Fidélitas' latest offerings, each with their unique character and depth.
As I savored each sip, I couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie with the other guests, as we all reveled in the shared experience of delighting our palates. Conversations flowed as easily as the wine, and the ambiance of the room seemed to encourage connections and...
Read moreFor $20 tasting fee, O Fidelitas offers a tasting of four wines: a white blend, 100% Merlot, 100% Malbec, and 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. The white blend strikes a harmonious balance with its refreshing taste complemented by a sweet, fruity aroma that delights the palate. The Merlot, on the other hand, is on the lighter side with a hint of bitterness; it wasn't my favorite. The Malbec leans towards the sweeter side, making it a decent choice, but the 100% Cabernet truly stood out. With its smooth entry followed by a dry finish, it was the star of the show. However, with its $80 price tag, I believe there are better wines in the $50 range, like the Woodward artist. Overall, I'd rate this tasting experience a 3 out of 5.
Ultimately, they introduced a 100% Petit Verdot that truly captivated me. This wine boasts a spicy, rich flavor, bolder than the Cabernet, and reminiscent of Syrah's spiciness in some ways. I was compelled to purchase a bottle. Originally priced at $45, but with the tasting fee waived, bringing it down to $25, it was an absolute bargain. This final selection elevated my overall tasting experience to a 4 out of 5. I eagerly anticipate pairing this wine with a steak and asparagus...
Read moreFidelitas in Red Mountain is worth a stop!
We stopped in at Fidelitas based on a recommendation. The grounds are beautiful - very modern, with glass, metal and wood. Red Mountain is wine country between Yakima and Walla Walla. It is a warm dry climate, making it ideal for reds. We each did a flight of the same wines. I really enjoyed their Optu a red blend that has a cabernet sauvignon base. Their Merlot and Malbec were also enjoyable. The girl who conducted our tasting was very knowledgeable about the family, vineyard, and wines. The tasting room is open and airy. Their wine club is reasonably priced. I also like that it is only 2 shipments per year and you have an opportunity to choose what is shipped. We bought some additional bottles and they agreed to ship them along with our first shipment in October. We also took 1 bottle to go. So, if you are in the area, make...
