We had a fabulous time tasting on this admittedly forest fire smokey Saturday at Obelisco. Although Armageddon appears to be approaching from the east, both from nature and the White House, a perfect way to deal with disaster is getting buzzed. Noon seems to be a the optimum time to start imbibing. The man and woman serving us were absolutely delightful, I didn’t get their names unfortunately. They put any “Seattle freeze” away and allowed us to forget about life for a while. The wines were great, although surprisingly I liked the Sauvignon Blanc and the Rose the best.
