The worst customer service I have ever experienced. This was to be a special night to celebrate a dear friends 25th birthday. We were seated at our table and proceeded to wait 10 minutes for anyone to approach us to see what we wanted to order. The person who handles the wine, which is separate from the person who handles the food, dropped off 1 menu of the list of available wines. We again waited another 10 minutes and she finally came back and ask one of the guests what she wanted and then zoomed off to get that one wine order. Meanwhile, the rest of us just sat there in stunned silence that she did not ask all of us what we wanted to order. The one glass of wine was delivered and once again she zoomed off and disappeared. The server who handles the food then came and took our order for food. Shortly after that the wine server came back and started taking our orders. One person asked what she would recommend for a white wine and the answer that floored us was this. " Umm, some friends came in and ordered this one and they liked it , but I have never tasted the wines here" OMG!! you work as the wine server and you have never tasted the wines?!?! How can you recommend the products if you have never tried them? Our food came, I had ordered the crab cakes, and upon diving into the second one I found a piece of shell the size of a quarter. The crab cakes were an appetizer, and were small but to have a shell this size in a crab cake that small is unbelievable. Meanwhile the wine server never came back to ask us if we wanted more wine as she was too busy chatting up her friend at the front counter in plain view of all of us. While we were sitting there chatting the food server came around and gave us our bills. One person in the group said "Oh, are we done?". The server said she was getting off work and wanted to clear the tickets(Um this sounds like your problem not the guests) She then came around and asked me if I was done with my crab cakes and I said I was, she then held out her hand for me to give her my plate, she then said " the silverware too" which I also had to hand to her. I should have asked her for a washcloth so I could wipe down the table for her as well. We then sat there in absolute silence over this failed attempt at customer service while waiting for the wine bills to arrive. This too was another failed attempt. We ended up having to go to the counter and individually pay for our wine. I was stunned at the price of 15 dollars for one glass of Chardonnay. It was good but not that good. I would never recommend this place to anyone, unless you were feeling too good about yourself and wanted to be taken down several notches. Avoid this place like the plague. They need training in customer service not customer...
Read moreI don’t normally leave reviews but this place was horrible and completely unsafe during COVID. Not only were the servers all completely rude, but one server did not have an actual mask on (some plastic contraption that didn’t even cover her nose) and said multiple times, “I don’t believe in wearing masks, we don’t care about the Department of Health here!” As an ER nurse that has been completely struggling through this pandemic, this was infuriating to hear from someone in the service industry. We ended up leaving before finishing because we didn’t feel safe being in a place that was bragging about not believing in masks or the Department of Health regulations. Will be reporting them, as I have photos of the server that was not wearing a proper mask. Do not support this place!
EDIT: In response to the owner who made assumptions about my virus exposure and responsibility by saying "we'd love it if all customers, took responsibility, including ER nurses, to self-quarantine if exposed to virus before visiting our tasting room." Prior to coming to tasting, I had been on vacation from work for 2 weeks where I did not go anywhere except the grocery store, as I know I am a risk of transmission. This is why we planned the tasting for this day. So it would be great to not do back-handed and passive aggressive comments about my role in containing the virus. Especially after your staff who was not wearing a proper mask was taking selfies with customers and loudly discussed her lack of concern for COVID. Your response is a perfect display of why I will never be going here again, and discourage others from giving...
Read moreI've been a wine club member at Lachini Vineyards in Woodinville for some time now, and I have to say, it's always a pleasure visiting. The staff here are consistently friendly and knowledgeable, making each trip both enjoyable and fun.
One of the things I appreciate most is the genuine warmth of the team. They're always friendly and you can tell they really enjoy what they do. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a leisurely afternoon of wine tasting.
The wines themselves are definitely worth mentioning. Whether you prefer reds, whites, or something in between, there's a good chance you'll find something that suits your palate. I've discovered quite a few favorites over my visits (including many pinot noirs, to which I am usually not a fan), and the quality is always top-notch.
The winery's cozy setting and friendly faces make it a place I look forward to visiting again and again. It's a great spot to unwind and enjoy some delicious wine. Highly recommend...
