We had a table reserved for 11AM on a Sunday for a bachelorette brunch. We arrived 10 minutes late due to the limited parking and very tight parking lot. Luckily, we were able to be seated right away as it wasn't busy. We were seated indoors, and there was one other small group of people indoors. Around 11:45am is when we were finally greeted by our server, Armando N. He had started asking everyone for ID's around the table, each person had told him their drink order along with showing him ID's. When he was at the 3rd or 4th person he responded by saying, no I'm not taking orders right now just checking ID's, I'll go back around and get the drink order after checking ID's.... we all thought this was a little strange however, rolled with it. He then began to take our drink orders and one of the girls in the group forgot to order coffee, so she asked if she could add a coffee to her order. Armando then said no, he has to go around the table in order because the bill is going to be split (I guess he's never heard of seat numbers before and is unable to add something to a customers order unless it's on his terms) He was very hard to hear through his mask, and didn't have the most warming personality. The service was very very slow, and again it wasn't very busy. Our food took a while to come out. Something that was frustrating is the 2 hour table limit...with service being so slow, it felt rushed, even though there were plenty of available tables with it being a slower morning. If it had been busy, this time limit would have made sense. Towards the end Armondo had gone around the table and started taking some plates away, there were a couple of girls who were still munching at the remainder of their meals, and he took the plates away without asking if they were finished eating. Luckily one girl was able to have that item removed from her bill, as over half her cinnamon roll was left when he took it away from the table. 20-25 minutes after everyone had settled their checks, we were chatting a bit and saying our goodbyes, then he came back to our table and said there's still outstanding tickets to be paid. We were all very confused as the amount was the same and ticket number was the exact same as one of the girls who had already paid. Someone just took charge and paid it to be done with it, then we all left. Unfortunately, I don't think any of us will be back. For being a "fancier" restaurant the service was very off putting, the food was just okay for the price. There are many other restaurants within Woodinville who provide better service, food and attention to detail all while feeling much more welcomed that we would choose...
Read more3/23/19 update: Still great food (and wine -duh), with great customer service. 5/5 on that front. Keep up the great work.
They remodeled over the winter (inside/kitchen) but still have the same frustrating patio tables and chairs. Jesus, the patio is a brick surface (cool/beautiful, but not even remotely flat or level) and they have tables without adjustable feet. IF every server and busser had a few shims in their aprons (they don’t) and were trained to proactively check that the tables aren’t wobbly before seating people, knocked over drinks and general annoyance wouldn’t occur. Duh. You’d think after this restaurant group being in business a combined total of 1,000 years (approximately) the management would get these details figured out. Apparently not.
Not having adjustable feet on the tables was a mistake, but forgivable if it were dealt with seamlessly, quietly, and professionally. Having three people run around like chickens without heads to find a single shim is ridiculous. If this was the only time this obliviousness was exhibited, I wouldn't waste my time bringing it up, but after being regular customers for five years (at this location alone) ya know, it's annoying.
Then there's the patio chairs. Oh. My. God. SO FRICKING UNCOMFORTABLE. WOBBLY AF, short, and just small and horribly inappropriate for this higher-end establishment. I'm so surprised no one has broken a leg having the rivets shear off and collapse the chair. I know we're not in Beverly Hills, but they need some chairs that are comfortable (upholstered or at least with removable cushions) and are an appropriate height to match up with the tables. They are so low, by about 2 or 3 inches, that you feel like you are a kid sitting at the adults table at a huge holiday family gathering. It’s ridiculous. Maybe they do recognize the issue and they’re working on procuring new tables and chairs before the busy summer season?
Original review:
Best, most delicious, most consistently awesome restaurant we've ever been to. We go at least once a week (for the last two years). We now have a 7 lb Chihuahua, so we've been taking him with us and sitting on the patio since we got him in March. The chicken marsala and tuna poke are notable standouts, but everything else has always been amazing, too. Try a glass of the Thomas Goss cabernet - a great value, and delicious. If you get the lobster roll, ask them to toast the...

Basil Gimlet 5/5 we’re gonna start with their happy hour cocktail of the night. You can order with with either vodka or gin both were really good but I’d probably say gin has more of a kick. Lovely acidic flavor with the right amount of sweetness
Wagyu Bao 6/5 two of us ordered this and hands down was the winner of the night. You HAVE to ordered this, it was exceptional
Truffle Frites 5/5 for the table because why the heck not! Great bowl of fries with that truffle flavor, not greasy and perfectly crispy
Chicken Marsala 5/5 I HAVE to order the Marsala when I come here and it does not fail. Comfort food at its best, a generous helping of chicken over a bed of creamy potatoes and carrots and then smother with a mushroom Marsala sauce. Delicious
Mushroom Pappardelle 5/5 this was made with a kale pesto and was split between two people. It was so nice of the kitchen to split the plate and both parties loved it, especially one who usually doesn’t order pesto pasta absolutely loved it!
Sweet Corn & Chanterelle Risotto 4/5 creamy and cheesy and hit the spot! Honestly the only reason I docked a star was it simply didn’t stand out as well as the other dishes but I would 100% recommend if you wanted a nice decadent risotto
Chocolate Cheese Cake 5/5 & Tiramisu 5/5 Both desserts were amazing and I was very surprised how beautifully made the chocolate cheesecake was made, not at all cloying and beautifully balanced with the berry coulis. The tiramisu was exactly how a tiramisu is supposed to be soaked lady fingers incased in fluffy sweet cream and enough cocoa on top to stick to your teeth 🤣🤣 ok maybe not that bad, but it was a happy ending to a great night.
Shout out to our server Mackenzie she did a wonderful job as did the gentleman who brought out our drinks and checked in on us through out out...
