Airfield Estates Winery Woodinville Tasting Room — Attraction in Woodinville

You get one large wine glass to pour your own wine into, so the flavors are mixed from one to the next. The decanters are labeled with numbers, and if you have a great memory, you might know which is which after the speedy description you get when they are brought to the table. On a positive note, we get to keep the plastic cup the frose is serve in!!! I’m assuming we can also keep the straw, but I’m not sure. We then ordered a charcuterie tray. We were delighted to learn it was prepared “picnic style” upon delivery, which did not include utensils, but did include a plastic bag as a portable storage container in case you wanted a snack on the go. We are going to another winery next and I’m confident that as long as it’s not on fire when we get there, it will be a better experience.

Edit: we walked out with two bottles of wine and the cost was covered by our two wine tastings. You just earned yourself back a star...

I live in Redmond and my parents were in town visiting from Salt Lake City, Utah. We ended up coming across the Airfield Estates winery and got there just before they closed. The manager Madison was absolutely wonderful. She let us in and started us off with 3 popular white wines and two of the Reds. While we were tasting them Madison and Gabe were very friendly and told us all about the history while being able to answer every question we threw at them! I don't usually write reviews, but the hospitality that Madison and Gabe showed us was more than worth the two minutes!! If I could give 6 starts I would with out hesitation. This is best tasting room in Woodinville. It’s also the only tasting room I went to in Woodinville, but that tidbit of information is inconsequential. We walked in and were immediately welcomed almost as if we were old friends. Dan was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Echo was a great hang and her wine preferences mirror my own, so I felt like we got recommendations that were truly tailored to us. Nayt was cool too, probably. The bottom line is, once we sat down and engaged with the team at Airfield we didn’t feel like we needed to go anywhere else.
