Evergreen Family Wines Woodinville (previously Ryan Patrick Wines) — Attraction in Woodinville

Came in around 5p on Friday with two Passports to Woodinville, and we were helped at the counter immediately, with a handful of people sitting outside on the patio. The gal inside told us to pick 4 wines out of their list, and then started us off with our first choices. I chose the last four and my boyfriend chose the middle four. They don't use the Measurement stopper for tasting that most places use, so the pours here were larger (always a plus for me). We sat outside with our wine and enjoyed the weather and conversation in the comfy bench seating, and the woman came around when our glasses were empty with the next wine on our respective rotations. We never had to seek her out, and we never had to remind her of what wine we were on. Beautiful space and good wines. We visited in the summer. I came in with a group of 6, and two of us had the Woodinville Wine Country Passport. Passport holders were given a different flight of three wines, while the rest received four. I was admonished for not calling ahead, although Passport instructions said advise the tasting room if your group was 8 or more. Kind of felt dumb the rest of the time, like I was a second-class patron for having the Passport. Not surprised to see they weren’t listed as a participating winery for 2019 on the Passport. We’ve been wine club members for Ryan Patrick for years now. Recently their tasting menu changed from choosing either a Ryan Patrick tasting or a milbrant tasting to now a combo of both. My husband and I have never cared for milbrandt wines. We’ve asked if we can just taste Ryan Patrick wines only because that’s what our membership is for and they won’t let us. It’s extremely disappointing because we don’t get member pricing on milbtandt and we only end up being able to try 2 Ryan Patrick wines.
