Montaup Cabins — Attraction in Woodstock

I just had a great trip at Montaup! I would definitely return if I did this trip again! ||||We stayed in cabin #2. It was clean and cute. It's designed for 2 people and that's all you'll get in there because the cabin is tiny. It's designed for you to be outside. ||||Outside: each cabin has it's own picnic table, fire pit with grill, and a couple of lawn chairs. They provide utensils if you are going to grill and sell firewood and ice. They also have outdoor games and a well maintained pool. We didn't use it but other people seemed to have a good time in it. Cabin 1 also had these, but it was the only cabin not along the river. I recommend being along the river, if you can.||||Inside: there is a mini-fridge, microwave, tv, window ac unit and a space heater. We didn't use the ac or space heater because of the weather. They included a roll of paper towels and offered clean towels each day. The shower is tiny and was difficult to shave my legs in, but the water pressure was fantastic! As somebody with thick hair, I really appreciated this. They also provided a bar of soap and a couple of disposable cups.||Location: it was EASY to get to any place in North Woodstock or Lincoln. We were there to hike in the White Mountains and found this location great for our daily adventures.||The owners were accessible, accommodating and friendly. I would chose this...

We recently stayed for three days at the Montaup Cabins while attending the 2021 New Hampshire Scottish Highland Games. What a delightful find! The Cabins were close to everything and in a lovely New Hampshire river setting. Our cabin was spotless and contained everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our bedroom was beautifully decorated and the bed itself was extremely comfortable…the quilts and linens were particularly cozy in the cool nights. The cabin even had an outdoor stone fireplace by the river, where we could relax in the evenings and toast marshmallows with our neighbors also enjoying the gorgeous river setting. The owner, Igor was extremely helpful in getting us checked in and making sure we had everything we needed. My two little boys (3 and 4) and I stayed in these beautiful, clean cabins in end of September. The weather was still very nice and the outside heated pool was perfect. My boys rode bikes at the property and played games with friends.||We stayed in one of the smaller seasonal cabins (#4) with comfy queen bed, which was perfect for us. The owners even gave us a roll up bed to sleep more comfortably. The cabin was spotless and beautifully decorated country style. There was a microwave, shower, AC, heating unit for colder nights and even small porch with two chairs. I also appreciated recycling in the cabins and on the premises. There is a river directly behind the cabins and fireplace with grill. Ton to do near by....
