Wow. Gorgeous place. We saw it on a Sunday morning🌅, but could only imagine this lovely park and concert/performance venue during an event. There were lots of places to set a portable chair and to spread a picnic blanket out for kids. Great wheelchair access too! There is a gazebo, railings, grassy spots, and formed stone seating rows if you didn't bring a chair. They would have gotten 5 stars from me, but we were unable to find public restrooms! 😕 We were waiting to shop at the local stores and had to leave before they opened because we couldn't find anything. Its mature trees provide plenty of shade if the sunshine gets too hot, and a polygon bandstand provides an extra shady space.
A central fountain provides added interest. There is also a war memorial, and 9/11 memorial displaying track from the World Trade Center’s subway station.
