
My daughter has been a student at Hanmi for several years, and about a year ago she convinced me to attend the Father's Day class with her. At that time I had no intention of becoming a student, but I enjoyed the class and decided to give it a try. I'm very glad I did because I have had a great experience. The instructors are top-notch, and they really take an interest in trying to encourage the students to bring out the best in them individually--it's not a one-size-fits-all approach. Read moreWhen my son was entering kindergarten, I didn't know what to do in terms of his afterschool care. Two colleagues of mine, both had their sons enrolled in Hanmi's Afterschool Program. I reached out to the studio and scheduled a meeting with Grand Master Brown. I remember my initial hesitation prior to meeting with her. I am VERY happen to say, my family has been PROUD members for many years. My 13 year old son is now a second degree Black Belt and my 6 year old daughter has recently earned her Green Belt. Read moreAs a resident of the neighborhood I find it disheartening that they seem to think they can park their vans on street- ALL DAY- in areas that are marked 1 hour parking. You'd think they would have respect for the law and respect for neighbors and other businesses that do NOT have a parking lot their building is attached to. Those that rely on that parking at night.
