The Baseball Card King — Attraction in Worth Township

Whenever I have a little extra spending loot to drop on cards, yet don't want to wait for something I ordered online to arrive, I head to BCK! Awesome inventory of boxes & packs of all popular sports, including but not limited to Baseball, Football, Basketball, Hockey, Soccer, MMA(UFC), & WWE. They also stock Star Wars cards, Pokémon (I'm pretty sure), & other entertainment trading cards. Besides the wall of boxes, there's a nice collection of singles cards. Any card collecting supply you can imagine, they stock it. Last but, certainly not least are the popular once per month parties....for more on those, see their flyers. So yeah, I freakin love this place. Everyone's usually so friendly, from the knowledgeable staff (Pat is the man!) & other customers who are quick to engage in "hobby talk" or anything else foe that matter.

DO NOT go here if you are new to the hobby! They will take advantage of it! The employees working there are usually pretty nice. They greet you and ask if you need help, what more could you ask for in a card shop employee. I once bought some cards from an employee and he was a really cool dude and gave me a great deal. The prices are way over retail but hey they gotta pay for all those locations somehow I guess. When I go there it's mostly older dudes in their later 40s or older who may have missed the "buying cards online" era and still think these prices are good but they will regularly sell products $200 over. I'm not talking like $200 over ebay I'm talking $200 over other card shops within 15 miles, it's honestly a rip off and made me sick to my stomach when I realized they pulled the wool over my head. These shops aren't really worth going to unless you just don't...

I will never go back here again. I drove almost an hour to get here to check it out for first time. They have 6 cases of cards for sale, a lot to look through. I’m there for about 15-16 minutes, ask the gentleman to come open a case for me so I can check out a few cards, as he’s walking over he says, ok I’m not trying to be rude, but I’m going to have to ask you to leave. We have a 15 minute time limit that guests can be allowed in the store and my boss watches the cameras and I don’t want to get in trouble. Are you kidding me?!?!? Had $500 to spend, he lost my business this evening, and forever. Will NVER go back, what an absolute joke. 15 minutes, if you e ever been to a card store, that might as well be 15 seconds. Terrible, thanks for wasting my time for an hour drive...
