I've been a regular at the Starbucks on 95th and Metra for years, sometimes visiting 2 to 3 times a day and spending a lot of money. It's important to me that my $10 drinks are made correctly. Recently, there have been new staff members who are polite but still learning, and I understand mistakes happen. However, the new manager, Candace, has been extremely rude and disrespectful. On several occasions, my drink was made incorrectly. While I don't mind having it remade, Candace publicly announced that if my drink is wrong again, they will need to check how much I've drunk to see if I'm eligible for a remake. This was humiliating and completely unnecessary, especially considering my frequent patronage. I'm not someone who looks for free drinks, and I don't appreciate being treated as if I am. Spending a significant amount of money here daily should guarantee a basic level of respect and customer service, which Candace failed to provide. I highly recommend avoiding this location until these issues are addressed. I also urge the district manager to contact me directly, as my attempts to get in touch have been dismissed, and I was told the district manager is...
Read moreSo we were visiting the area from another city and my wife wanted coffee while I wanted burger from next door. I ordered her coffee and noticed they were busy, so couldn't show regular courtesy (had to wait couple of min to get my receipt as he disappeared from the counter). No biggie! But when my wife went to pick the order (with receipt) and was taking too long, I checked on her. A little later she came out and what she told me was mindblowing. The manager told her she didn't order the coffee from that location even after having time stamped receipt. I came back to verify if it's true, and the guy told me he said that because other people did that before. When I asked if he checked the receipt, he DID say it was a mistake and said sorry. I left at that point but couldn't get over the fact that how come a responsible person accuse someone without properly verifying the proof. Not good service at a overly priced coffee shop.

Read more⭐ 1-Star Review I’m a regular at this Starbucks and typically spend $50–$100 a week here. But after today, I don’t see myself coming back.
It’s 91 degrees outside hotter than the devil’s backside and I stopped in with my own clean thermos that already had ice, just needing a water refill. I was told it's against store policy to give water unless I purchase something. This isn’t the first time either. About a month ago, I asked for a packet of honey and was told the same thing "store policy" unless I buy something. That was odd, but I let it slide.
But today? Denying someone water during a heatwave, even when I brought my own cup? That’s just inhumane. I walked next door to Smashburger, and they gladly filled it up no issue, no purchase required.
Starbucks, I understand policies, but there has to be some basic level of human decency. This experience was disappointing, and unless something changes, this might be my last visit to...
