While attempting to deep clean my PS5, I used too much force and yanked the disc drive connector off the board. Of course, I was crushed because most of my favorite games are on disk. Not wanting to be stuck with a digital only console forever, I decided to enlist Fixtronics' services for assistance.
I highly suggest that you bring what you need fixed as soon as they open because they have a lot of clients and are deserving of them as I'll explain later. The customer service was exceptional. I was greeted and treated with kindness, provided a fair quote for the repair, and given an estimated time for completion of repairs for later that day. All I had to do was wait to be called when they were finished.
Just to quickly backtrack, I brought my PS5 in around 11:20 AM on Friday. There was already a customer inside and after I left, I saw a few more enter. Anyway, when 5PM rolled around without a callback, I got antsy. I got nervous. I was worried that they wouldn't be able to fix my Playstation (Spoiler Alert they did). But when I arrived, I was informed that they had just resoldered the connector and were testing the drive. Unfortunately, the drive was still unable to accept discs at that moment.
I was provided another ETA of Tuesday or Wednesday for completed repairs as they're closed on the weekend. If I was crushed before, at this point, I was damn near disintegrated. But good things come to those who wait! On Tuesday, I received a callback that my PS5 was fixed and tested. I picked it up, brought it back home, and am relieved to say that the disc drive is working flawlessly now.
You won't regret bringing your electronics down there, so do...
Read moreI’m the type of person who likes to have one professional be my go to and I’ve found them in Fixtronics. My first mini project was a video game that needed micro welding and that was taken care of in less then a week. I had to make a few calls to find a place that would complete a repair like this so I was happy with the communication, speed and cost of the repair. For my second project, we had a Christmas star light that was not functioning. Our family had debated throwing it away but we wanted to see if it had a chance of being fixed. Fixtronics didn’t promise they could fix it as it was not a project they normally took on but they said they would let us know. Well, they were able to fix it and just in time to enjoy it a few weeks before Christmas. Needless to say, we have our go-to for...
Read moreFirst time the owner fixed my cracked iPhone I was satisfied But second time I came to get it fixed the guy didn't do a good job. My camera had a glare and the bottom of my screen was dark and it kept freezing.
I called to let them know about the issue owner said bring it in. Unfortunately it took me a month because my brother passed away. I recently contacted the owner and asked if he could still honor their mistake and he said it would be 50$ because I took long to bring it back. Whoa that's not good business I have recommended plenty of friends but not any more. One of my friends had the same issue and he fixed her phone for free . I guess he only cares about a pretty face and whatever else. Will not return and will let everyone...
