I ordered a phone to ship to the store on 12/4, and was told they would be delayed until after Christmas, which was no big deal with supply chain issues. The store employees were helpful and professional so this isn't any mark against them.
I was sent tracking information via email and noticed that there were three unsuccessful delivery attempts by Fedex to deliver the phone to the store. After over an hour wait time on the phone I found out that the entire store was closed due to the staff having Covid, again no big deal but an email or a heads up would've been nice.
The tracking information displayed this message "We made a final delivery attempt: 01/05/2022 02:59 PM. Pick up your package(s) today after 06:00 PM at FedEx Facility: 1017 A MACARTHUR ROAD within 2 business days, or your package(s) may be returned to the shipper"
So I called both Verizon and Fedex at that point and both companies told me I could pick the phone up with no problems at the Fedex facility(after very lengthy holds from the 1-800 number). Much to my dismay, once I arrived at Fedex the very next day(today) I was told that the package was delivered earlier this day to the store. I was a bit peeved since the Fedex employee I spoke with told me to come I would be good to come to the facility and pick it up today(why not set it aside?) but the Verizon store was only 5 minutes way so I just said whatever and started to drive to the store.
Just to be safe I called the store on my way over to confirm that the phone was ready to go. The store employee put me on a brief hold to double check and informed me that the phone was not there. I reiterated what I was told at Fedex with the tracking confirming "Delivered Thursday, 1/6/2022 at 2:39 pm" (it was 6pm by this time). She double checked and confirmed that the phone was not in the store and advised me to wait a few days.
So between hour long phone call wait times and what turned out to be another wasted hour driving around Fedex and the Verizon store I'm left unsatisfied and annoyed at the amount of time wasted on what should've been a...
Read moreUpdate: After a few phone calls and emails victra support said they will honor the promo told me. Much appreciated. This is an authorized retailer for Verizon. My initial experience was great. Here's how it went down... Phone died soon after warranty and the real Verizon store over by target is scheduled visits and couldn't get me in for a few days. So I go to this place called Victra Verizon. They helped right away, said I had an $800 promo for a new phone, excellent. The phone I wanted was $815, paid $15, got my number moved over, out with a new phone in an hour. Next month bill comes out with device payment, weird. Emailed the person who helped, she said don't worry about it, in 2 or 3 billing cycles it will go away, ok cool. Now on 4th billing cycle and device payment is still there. So I go into store... Oh boy... Person I worked with is no longer there. New person looks into it and they said, oh, she was wrong you didn't have a promo. Mind you they took the broken phone. So I was like I want my old phone... They had no idea where it was. I said someone owes me $800 because the paperwork clearly shows the promo. I could have had my old phone fixed for cheaper. After an hour they said come back tomorrow at 1p, store manager will be in. Next day I get there at 1p and talk to store manager. After another hour, she says her manager will take care of it, probably cut me a check since they needed to make it right. Few days go by, never hear from her manager. Stop by again and completely blown off. Told the manager is in the back too busy and Vistra customer support will call. I asked for the support number, she said she had no idea what is. Few days go by, no phone call. I have an open ticket with Vistra support after email and calling in. We'll see what happens. But don't waste your time going to this knock off retailer. Just go to Verizon and get the proper service you deserve,...
Read moreMy phone recently got lost/stolen. Unfortunately i had to face the dreaded task of replacing it. Without going into the logistics of it all. I will only say that Alisha made this whole ordeal very simple, she was very knowledgeable in all things Verizon. I had had an incident in that store with Alisha about a year earlier, i was wrong, she was still great! I thought to myself, good for her she must have gotten promoted to or something distirct manager now! Very polite and grounded at all times even when everything got, it seemed to me, impossibly complicated. I actually live in Reading and travel to the Berkshire Mall location because I know Alisha knows what...
