We booked the tickets to the tour a week and a few days before our tip. The tour itself was great, our guide Sara S. was amazing! She was really lovely, really knowledgeable and always showed her availability to answer our questions. Also I might come back in 2025 just because of how much she motivated us to (and of course how lovely and beautiful everything here is)! The basilica is beautiful, grand and astonishing. If you like history and would like to know more I definitely recommend even if you’re not a religious person. A wedding was happening during the tour so it was a lovely plus. The only thing we’d like to point out is that we booked the tickets on a website that said “no lines”, “you won’t need to wait” and that was not the case, there were only 3 security check portics open and there were a LOT of people outside. Even with The previously bought ticket you are required to wait at least a half an hour in line so keep that in mind whenever you plan your day/ trip. Other than that everything was fast, informative, effective and worth it. We would like to reinforce how much we loved Sara S. (our guide) because of her amazing energy and how great she is at her job! Thank...
Read moreI had the pleasure of taking the St. Peter's Basilica tour in English with the most wonderful guide, Silvia Guastini. She enjoys the history of the Vatican and the art work and her joyful smile transferred to my tour group. I enjoyed Silvia’s humerous approach to the artwork in the Basilica and learned a lot about the artists, their intentions, the Popes that commissioned them, and the complex political atmosphere in the renaissance era. Silvia had an answer to all of our questions. She also gave us additional post tour recommendations. Her knowledge and style of delivery made my experience in Rome and the Vatican an enjoyable one. I plan to come back to this wonderful city and take more of her tours. 100% recommend taking Silvia’s tour at Vox Mundi. You will thank yourself...
Read moreI would not recommend the guided tours offered by Vox Mundi. They are expensive (approx 27€/person) and the quality is mediocre. The guide was late and the meeting point unclear. Some audio devices did not work. The guide was not professional, she discovered on the spot that some doors / parts of the building were closed and we would not be able to visit them. The visit was rushed: the guide would start commenting a statue, but we would not even know which statue she was describing. Then, the content was ok, but a bit vague, and for some stories, it was not always clear whether the story was a documented historical fact, or a religious legend. She left no time...
