We booked the tickets to the tour a week and a few days before our tip. The tour itself was great, our guide Sara S. was amazing! She was really lovely, really knowledgeable and always showed her availability to answer our questions. Also I might come back in 2025 just because of how much she motivated us to (and of course how lovely and beautiful everything here is)! The basilica is beautiful, grand and astonishing. If you like history and would like to know more I definitely recommend even if you’re not a religious person. A wedding was happening during the tour so it was a lovely plus. The only thing we’d like to point out is that we booked the tickets on a website that said “no lines”, “you won’t need to wait” and that was not the case, there were only 3 security check portics open and there were a LOT of people outside. Even with The previously bought ticket you are required to wait at least a half an hour in line so keep that in mind whenever you plan your day/ trip. Other than that everything was fast, informative, effective and worth it. We would like to reinforce how much we loved Sara S. (our guide) because of her amazing energy and how great she is at her job! Thank you so much!
