Disappointing Experience at Hermès in Diamond Plaza, District 1

As loyal fans of Hermès, we were extremely disappointed with the service at the Diamond Plaza location. The experience was nothing like the exceptional service we’ve come to expect from Hermès, including at the Takashimaya Center and overseas.

When we walked into the store, the first staff member greeted us briefly, but after giving us a dismissive glance, he passed us off to another male staff member. This second staff member was just bad, he had the whole "Gen Z" attitude - acting like he didnt even want to be there. Meanwhile, the other two staff members—a male and a female—sat by slovenly, bringing down the whole image of the stall. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable from a brand of Hermès’ caliber. We’ve always appreciated the high standards and customer-centric experience at Hermès, but this was the first time our perception of the brand was tarnished. It was no longer a brand of heritage, craftsmanship, opulence and luxury - but for an unfortunate moment it was a brand of cheap, irrelevant, unimportance.

We won’t be returning to this location, and we strongly urge management to address the behavior of their staff. Hermès deserves better...
