didn't feel like they would like to welcome thier guests. we made a booking for 6:30 pm, the ordeal starts from thereon, when we went inside the restaurant, even after telling them that we will move out before 9 pm, one of the server keep on repeating that you have to buy a bottle to sit on the sofa (restaurant was completely empty, there was only one person on the bar counter enjoying his drink). later when we order, the staff looks clueless, couldn't answer anything, but that is ok. but then i feel like nobody from the service staff is even bothered to check whether we are ok in the place or not. in the whole time we were there, not even a single staff seems concerened, all of them were just busy either chatting among themselves or the European guest sitting at the bar. staff smoking vape, not a big issue. food was served and we were still waiting for the canape in the set menu, and they didn't even bothered to tell us that due to unavailability of one ingredient, they could not do it, later a chef came to apologise, but that happened when we questioned the staff about the canapes, also when it arrived it was a complete waste as it was nothing as what mentioned. wagyu was ok. we just decided to leave the place as no one is bothered. there was not even a gate assistance offered, i mean this is some of the very basic, you can get this in a basic coffee shop. i really felt like they are not in a mood, everyone in the staff feels like they just so super cool. I think the owner should see these things, it was such a terrible experience and that in a...
Read moreWowww. Talk about setting the new standard- The Arth is the perfect balance of great hospitality, incredible food, delicious drinks, and all nestled in a classy environment with unrivaled vibes.
I’m convinced that the executive chef, Tommy will have Michelin stars in his future. His approach to cooking is imaginative, fun and, oh my god- it is SO good. Every single dish we tried was top tier, to the point where we would have to get seconds of the same dishes even while ordering new ones from the menu to try.
Jamie, the bar lead is just as imaginative and takes pride in his thoughtful creations behind the bar. It’s been so much trying all of these tasty concoctions, and he’ll keep you laughing the entire time, too. Just wait til you try his newest Tea inspired cocktail. Damn delicious.
Chef Tommy and Jamie are a duo to watch- they complement each other so well to deliver incredible pairings for guests.
The bartenders are all such experts in their craft- all coming up with their own versions of classics and keeping us in awe of everyone’s talent while keeping the vibe strong.
Phat knows exactly how to make my favorite drink and does it with a bright smile every time. He also makes a killer Penicillin- My husband doesn’t even like ordering them anywhere else anymore since they never compare to Phat’s.
Can’t even gush enough about this entire crew, and honestly probably going to head there again tonight. Do yourself a favor and do the same when you can- you...
Read moreYou know a place leaves an impression when you find yourself thinking about it days later, and regretting not going back. That’s The ARTH for me.
From the moment I stepped into that dim, almost theatrical glow, I felt like I’d entered another era, velvet shadows, rich wood tones, oversized chandeliers, and a dramatic ceiling jungle of florals and vines that felt like something out of a film noir-meets fairytale. There was a clock on the wall, but somehow time stopped.
The cocktails were crafted with flair, both visually and flavor wise, and the small bites were exquisite. But beyond the drinks or dishes, it was the ambience that stayed with me. It wasn’t just a bar; it was a story being told in low light.
And the staff? Incredibly courteous. A special thanks to the kind soul who helped take some amazing pictures, you added to the experience more than you know.
I wanted to go back. God, I meant to go back. But I couldn’t make the time. And that’s a rare kind of regret, when you leave a place knowing you’ve only scratched the surface of the experience.
If you’re reading this and still have the chance, go. Linger. Let it wrap you in its moody charm. Because The Arth is one of those places that doesn’t just deserve a visit, it...
