I stayed here with my wife from December 3-9 to celebrate our wedding anniversary and her birthday. I really have nothing to compare it to being that this was my first time in Phu Quoc, but I'm so glad I chose the Venice Hotel for our stay. The service was excellent from start to finish, as the staff made sure all of our needs and requests were attended to. I would also like to give special thanks to the 2 lovely ladies (Nhi and Kieu) in housekeeping who decorated our room beautifully for my wife's birthday and our anniversary. It surely made the occasions that much more special.
Although our stay was amazing for the most part, there were some negatives. As some reviewers have mentioned, the bar across from the hotel will blare music every night way past midnight, and in our case, up until 2am most evenings. This is, of course, no fault of the hotel, but it is something to keep in mind, especially if you don't fall asleep easily. So make sure to bring some earplugs, which, fortunately for us, we did. Another thing is that there is no pool or gym within the hotel itself. Rather, they borrow the facilities of an apartment complex way up on the hill, which requires buggy service, and use of the facilities is only granted with advance notice. I found that out the hard way as I was made to wait an hour before I could use the gym one morning. The gym itself is fairly new, but poorly equipped, in my opinion. Lastly, their breakfast selection could be better, but was adequate for us. The service, however, was exceptional, so that more than made up for it.
Location wise, we realized that it would have probably been more convenient for us to stay in a hotel in Duong Dong, as it would have been central to everything. But having stayed in Sunset Town for almost a week, I'm glad we did, as it was just a more relaxing and romantic atmosphere. For reference, it will cost 20 USD via Grab to go from the hotel to Vin Wonders or GrandWorld. For a roughly 70 minute trip, that is more than fair.
I would definitely recommend the Venice Hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Sunset Town or in Phu Quoc in general. They certainly helped to make our first trip to Phu Quoc a memorable one and I would not hesitate to book them again if I'm ever fortunate...
Read moreVenice Hotel is a boutique hotel that is inside Sunset Town. It is tastefully decorated with clean amenities and a spacious room. I stayed here for 8 nights and the staff here has shown me their professional and heartwarming service especially from Lee, Mia and Kush. They are very attentive to every details needed. So long that it is within their capacity, they will do their best to meet your needs. As a solo female traveller, I feel very safe and well taken care of by the hotel crew. My heartfelt gratitude goes to them ❤️.
The hotel have good enough breakfast selections that are a combination of Western, Vietnamese fusion food. You can be at ease staying in the hotel and travel around Sunset Town as the hotel provides free buggy service for any travel within Sunset Town. I booked from the hotel directly which gave me far better deal compared to booking via agents.

The fireworks are feels very close and big therefore you can feel the tension of it when you stand at the balcony. But all these can be easily forgotten when you mesmerized yourself in the magical moments of thousands of shooting star like fireworks in front of you, up close.
What made it most unforgettable for me is witnessing and mesmerizing myself in the amazing fireworks shows every night, at the comfort of my room balcony. If you like to witness the performance around Kissing Bridge, watch it from your balcony at 5.30pm, while The Symphony of Sea starts at 7.45pm. The 9.30pm fireworks that comes from Kiss of the Sea performance podium are to die for. Read moreWe recently had an absolutely phenomenal stay in Phu Quoc at Venice Hotel.
We had opted for an ocean view room with balcony, and we were really grateful for the incredibly beautiful view of the kiss bridge, as well as being able to watch the Kiss of the sea show fireworks within the comfort of our room.
What truly set this hotel apart was the unparalleled level of service provided by their team. They demonstrated a remarkable willingness to go the extra mile, particularly when it came to helping out in emergencies (we had an incident with our phone not working after it fell in the ocean, to which the staff helped us with transfers to good quality mobile stores for help). This level of dedication and care made us feel completely looked after and secure throughout our trip.
The staff also helped us with booking our two-day experience and activities, which was remarkably smooth and efficient. The hotel team was incredibly responsive at any reasonable time of day via WhatsApp.
Beyond the stellar service, the complimentary services given were totally worth it and added significant value to our trip. Like their complimentary airport shuttle, free buggy rides to nearby attractions, and the complimentary sunset town tour where our buggy driver was kind enough to take our pics with beautiful views during the golden hour.
In summary, this hotel offers a complete package: breathtaking scenery, delicious food, incredible value from complimentary services, and, most importantly, a team that genuinely cares about their guests' experience.
I wholeheartedly recommend it and can't...
