Blue table is a so-called Italian restaurant provides salad, pasta, pizza, risotto and some other snacks like buffalo wings with french fries. Each category there are many varieties that suit your choices. I like the atmosphere most here at Blue Table, the staffs are very nice too, especially the one look like the boss.
The reason why I said this is a so-called Italian restaurant because though the dishes are Italian the tastes and the way they serve are quite different from the Italian way. For example, they serve risotto in a plate instead, rather than in a thickened bowl which can keep warm for a longer time.
Other than the risotto, the dough they use for baking pizza is not the one I used to eat in pizza shop. The flour they use should be the one for making bread dough, you can tell on the first bite.
To be fair, the price here at tourism centre of Phil Quoc island is reasonable. I suggest them to make the restaurant...
Read moreFood was okay - but the missus and myself both found the pizza at another restaurant in Sunset Town much better (which we shall not name out of respect to this business). That said, the kid enjoyed the buffalo wings with fries and I was satisfied with my baked pasta dish.
The biggest downside, is the poor ambience especially relative to the price. There's another restaurant not too far away that serves similar dishes at lower prices but far nicer ambience. By far the most bewilderingly priced item was the Eggplant appetizer that cost 300,000VND - our dinner for 3 with a Soda and a Coke Zero therefore came to a total of 1,110,000VND - by far the most we've spent on a meal after 5 days in Phu Quoc.
We definitely would not visit again nor would we recommend this place - simply because, again, there are better restaurants with better food, service and substantially better ambience nearby-ish in...
Read moreWe are vegetarians, and the team at Blue Table was incredibly kind and accommodating. They customised their dishes for us by removing eggs, bacon, and other non-vegetarian ingredients without any hassle. The Cheese Bomb Pizza was absolutely delicious — they even added extra vegetarian toppings, which made it even better. Another highlight was the Kimchi Fried Rice — a must-try! It was packed with authentic kimchi flavour and tasted amazing. It’s not always easy to find places that adapt so well for vegetarians, but Blue Table went above and beyond. Highly recommended for both the food and their warm...
