Read moreYou must go and visit the Butterfly garden!!! There are beautiful small and quaint places in key west away from the hustle bustle drunken duval street. This tower houses one of the most gorgeous gardens inside a once used fortification. The lady who runs this place is very sweet and you can host events here. Now back to the butterfly garden. Sit on the benches and enjoy the breeze from the water and watch these monarchs fly around...
Read moreI'm a plant person (even though I can't keep them alive) so I literally was in nirvana just enjoying the bustling floral and plants in this place.
I went to their Butterfly Garden and it was just so peaceful. They came so close that I could have touched them with my hand!
They also have some plants for sell if you want to take a little one back to your abode.
Best of all, it's FREE! They do take donations if you wish to contribute tho.
Definitely add this to your trip and check out the Higgs Beach Pier and/or Edward Knight Pier...
