Loved staying at Atlantis house. Close to the public beach but tucked away from hectic Duval street. Attractions were accessible by bikes provided. Tires were low when we got here but Shavon came and pumped them up the next day along with bringing us a roll of paper towels for the kitchenette. Highly suggest renting some scooters for your stay. We didn’t end up doing it, but I could see how they would be handy to get around the island. We rode down to get breakfast at the Corner Sandwich shop every morning. Doesn’t look like much but the sandos are delicious! To note, there are two suites-The Palm and The Banyan, and they share the backyard deck. If both are booked you will be sharing the deck space with your neighbor. Also chickens! The chicken roam the whole island and will crow at anytime of the day. Not super loud inside the room but you can hear them. We loved it and made us feel at home because we have chickens. Also, the next door neighbor has a dog. Never woke up to it but did notice a bit of barking when I was out on the deck. Nothing horrible (and believe me, I’ve stayed at an Air BnB where the owners quarters were attached to our rental and dogs barked non-stop!) Really enjoyed our stay and would book the Main residence for a family vacation if it wasn’t a minimum 28 day stay. Way more comfy and relaxing than a hotel.

Highly recommended! Hospitality comes natural to Captain Steve. Our room was prepared well before our arrival and it was immaculate. We went on a snorkel trip with Captain Steve and it was the highlight of our trip! He took us to a secluded area where we saw parrotfish, barracudas, a massive nurse shark, sting ray, and a variety of angelfish and tangs. Safety was of the upmost importance to him and we saw that he was always looking out for us while we snorkeled. He is very knowledgeable about the area and sea life. He eagerly searched for a sea turtle for us to see on our boat ride and we did! Also, Kayla’s key lime pie was seriously the best on the island and we tried many different key lime pies. The free bikes were a huge benefit and we were able to bike to Duval Street for food and entertainment. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Every time we go to Key West we stay at the Atlantis House! We love Steve and Kayla! Kayla’s Key lime pie is THE best on the whole island!! She also gives one of the best massages on the planet! You must go on the Eco-tour with Captain Steve! His knowledge about the environment is second to none! If you want private, romantic and right by the water, this is the place to be. You won’t need a car because bicycles are provided during your stay. Captain Steve and Kayla think of everything, from bathrobes, Turkish towels and Be Kind bath products, you will feel like you are truly in paradise. Get off the beaten path away from all the tourists and enjoy this special gem hidden in Key West!

the room was clean but very small. Unfortunately they did not have ice on the premises they did have a small refrigerator that had a place for ice trays but they did not have trays that would be a nice addition... They had a garden tub that had jets but the hot water was not enough to ever get the hot tub even halfway filled so you would have to shut it off and let it reheat and then fill the other half of it you. It just seemed like it had a very small water heater to try and fill the Big Tub. The location is okay if you're looking for total seclusion. They're really isn't much of a beach around you there is a very small one down the street. To get to Mallory Square or Duval Street you had to take a bicycle or a car. It just seemed like everything that we wanted to do was at the other side of the island.. Steve and Kayla were very nice .. Steve seem to pop up a lot.. The house was decorated for Halloween which was very cool.. We only stay 2 nights but they did not clean the Room in between nights so we had to ask for extra Towels and the trash kind of backed up... The Turkish towels were a little bit on the hard side.. Like they could have used some fabric softener or something.. The bikes chains could use some oiling as well.. Over all for $255 II felt like it was a bit overpriced....ps.. Also when your guets are staying it's not a good idea to tell them you have a nest of Brown recluse Spiders and scorpions under your patio.. It definitely doesn't make you want to hang out there.. or feel comfortable staying there...

Decorated with LOVE. Attention to details with LOVE. Amenities and furnishings with care and LOVE. The patio garden is spewing with lots of LOVE. And most of all, the loving hospitality of Kayla and Steve is the best part of the Atlantis House experience.

Truly a gem for a romantic getaway, Atlantis House is perfectly situated between where old town meets new town of Key West. Though Higgs Beach is steps away and it is wonderful, about 1.5 mile walk in the opposite direction is the longest stretch of beachfront in KW and it is even more lovely and less crowded. If you're an avid walker, you will love Key West and Atlantis House is a perfect retreat after a nice walk, or even better - Kayla's massage. My wife, who is also a massage therapist, was absolutely glad she signed up for one of Kayla's session. She is a genuine pro.

The air temperature was just a bit too chilly with the cold front that swept through the Keys in the second week of January. Otherwise, we would be boating with Captain Steve. That's reason enough for us to come back again. Both Kayla and Steve were incredibly thoughtful and caring in every respect, and ensured that we got the most out of our visit. Oh, and you may read from other reviewers about Kayla's key lime pie. Oh, my - decadent - it is all that and more!

You will LOVE KW as a guest at the Atlantis House - we highly...

No Worries , none better. Another trip to Atlantis House inKey West with Capt. Steve and Kayla , they continue to improve the best. If worried about current state of affairs , Atlantis House is the best choice. Small, only two rooms, incredibly comfortable and clean, many hours spent meticulously cleaning and disinfecting After each guest, even the free bikes are cleaned after use. We have stayed in each room, both fantastic and while one bigger, both perfect and comfortable. Soaps and shampoos, Cable TV, fridge, microwave, hair dryer, plates and eating utensils all provided. You won’t find nicer linens and towels ...... We love the location , close - a mile or so to anything on Duval,, beaches - easy walk, but on return peaceful and very quiet. Capt. Steve and Kayla are ready to help with anything you might need or info and advice about Key West. Did another boat (snorkeling) tour with Capt. Steve , and again you can’t find another better personalized time on the water or more competent Capt. ..... love Key Lime pie and as many attest to , Kaylas is the best !! Key West slowly trying to get back on its feet , most businesses require mask in and out till seated. Please respect Key West and it’s people ! I don’t think anyone likes masks but if it helps Key West get back and allows us the privilege of experiencing, please...
