the room was clean but very small. Unfortunately they did not have ice on the premises they did have a small refrigerator that had a place for ice trays but they did not have trays that would be a nice addition... They had a garden tub that had jets but the hot water was not enough to ever get the hot tub even halfway filled so you would have to shut it off and let it reheat and then fill the other half of it you. It just seemed like it had a very small water heater to try and fill the Big Tub. The location is okay if you're looking for total seclusion. They're really isn't much of a beach around you there is a very small one down the street. To get to Mallory Square or Duval Street you had to take a bicycle or a car. It just seemed like everything that we wanted to do was at the other side of the island.. Steve and Kayla were very nice .. Steve seem to pop up a lot.. The house was decorated for Halloween which was very cool.. We only stay 2 nights but they did not clean the Room in between nights so we had to ask for extra Towels and the trash kind of backed up... The Turkish towels were a little bit on the hard side.. Like they could have used some fabric softener or something.. The bikes chains could use some oiling as well.. Over all for $255 II felt like it was a bit overpriced....ps.. Also when your guets are staying it's not a good idea to tell them you have a nest of Brown recluse Spiders and scorpions under your patio.. It definitely doesn't make you want to hang out there.. or feel comfortable staying there...

Truly a gem for a romantic getaway, Atlantis House is perfectly situated between where old town meets new town of Key West. Though Higgs Beach is steps away and it is wonderful, about 1.5 mile walk in the opposite direction is the longest stretch of beachfront in KW and it is even more lovely and less crowded. If you're an avid walker, you will love Key West and Atlantis House is a perfect retreat after a nice walk, or even better - Kayla's massage. My wife, who is also a massage therapist, was absolutely glad she signed up for one of Kayla's session. She is a genuine pro.
The air temperature was just a bit too chilly with the cold front that swept through the Keys in the second week of January. Otherwise, we would be boating with Captain Steve. That's reason enough for us to come back again. Both Kayla and Steve were incredibly thoughtful and caring in every respect, and ensured that we got the most out of our visit. Oh, and you may read from other reviewers about Kayla's key lime pie. Oh, my - decadent - it is all that and more!
You will LOVE KW as a guest at the Atlantis House - we highly...

You won’t find nicer linens and towels ...... We love the location , close - a mile or so to anything on Duval,, beaches - easy walk, but on return peaceful and very quiet. Capt. Steve and Kayla are ready to help with anything you might need or info and advice about Key West. Did another boat (snorkeling) tour with Capt. Key West slowly trying to get back on its feet , most businesses require mask in and out till seated. Please respect Key West and it’s people ! I don’t think anyone likes masks but if it helps Key West get back and allows us the privilege of experiencing, please...
