Impresso Restaurant Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Yerevan

This is simply my favorite spot in the city for every occasion - meeting with friends, business meeting, a cozy place to pass the evening with some light jazz music. The atmosphere is relaxing, the interior is full of old clocks and nice paintings. There is live music sometimes. At Impresso I can always count on a big pot of tea with unique flavors (I'm not a coffee fan, but my friends who enjoy coffee liked every cup taken here), and a delicious shortcake. I absolutely love this café at the fall and winter seasons (as the Glintwein / Glühwein is served only at that time) and the hot chocolate is absolutely wonderful when it's cold outside. Also, if you don't know where to spend the Valentine's day with your significant other, just visit Impresso. It's always beautifully decorated for Valentine's day - there are candles on the tables and the ladies are presented with flowers. Impresso is a bit pricey place, but show me a decent café in the city center that isn't. Tip: Pay with Idram app to get a cashback. UPDATE: Service isn't what it used to be. In Yerevan for a week. Walked passed Impresso and noticed lots of locals enjoying the pretty cool space. Came back for a late lunch of cocktails, 2 different salads, 2 different pastas, some cake and coffee. Everything exceeded our expectations. Nice relaxed place to sit, friendly and fast service, the food was carefully prepared and well presented, the coffee is great (although this might be a Yerevan thing in general - great coffee) and the pastry was also up to what looks like Yerevan's very high standard. Why I'm not giving 5 stars is that when paying and at first thinking about whether and how much to tip, then remembering there was a service charge, I was told the service charge doesn't go to the waitstaff. WHAT? Either it goes to waitstaff and I was lied to, or the owner's ripping off their employees. Bad in both cases, worse in the second.

We were satisfied, the charging outlets work, you can sit here and work on a laptop.

Portions are weirdly small, the omelette was made from 1 egg or 2 small ones, quite surprising...
