We had a pleasant stay at the 2 bedroom apartment. It is split level. There is a queen size bed in one room and another 2 single beds on the upper floor. Reasonable amount of space all round. This 2-room apartment even has its own private enclosed lawn with a gate with a latch. Overall, the place is bright, clean and pleasantly decorated. Kitchen is also well-equipped for meal preparation. The motel is located right in the middle of Port Campbell township and so the visitor centre, pub, grocery store, cafe and restaurants are all within walking distance. The Twelve Apostles, etc are a short drive away. We greatly enjoyed the vibe of the place. However, a note of caution. It seems that the pub opposite the motel sometimes organises events that would end at 1am. I had read about this mentioned in previous reviews and thus made sure to check out the Facebook of the pub to ensure that the date of my stay does not coincide with any such event. I suggest those who desire an early rest and have no intention of joining the revelry to check the dates too before booking! Also, it is worth noting that the motel reception closes early! We arrived at the motel at 5pm plus (was told reception is until 7pm)to find no one around. There was a note on the reception door with a number for us to call though. We spoke to the manager and managed to check-in afterwards...

The Good: Motel owner was friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and the room, bathroom and toilets were all clean to a very good standard, with all lighting, air conditioning etc working well. Bathroom/toilet refurbished and modern. The beds were relatively comfortable and the linen clean. Also, all amenities were provided.

The Bad: The room felt very cluttered, with unnecessary things like a little table with a couple of little pottery items; a plant and a large cabinet with a sink, which when the tap was turned on, splashed water everywhere. Could also do away with the cane bed heads and swinging seat. The brand of tea and coffee provided was tasteless, with the standard of other amenities such as shampoo (which barely lathered and did not smell very pleasant), below average. Could definitely use a small bin in the bathroom, as the only one was inside the cabinet in the bedroom. Also, there was no toilet roll holder. In addition, there needs to be more towel rails/hooks for hand/bath towels. The worst part was that half way through showering, a couple of us ran out of hot water, so had to finish with cold showers. Luckily it was summer. Would maybe benefit from a little decluttering and re-design of the rooms and replacing the hot...

We had a lovely stay at Port o Call. Whilst it is called a motel, Port o Call massively exceeds expectations for a motel. We stayed in unit 6 - a family room two story loft. ||Check in was super easy. We were messaged by Lexy with clear instructions which was very welcomed after a long day driving and looking at the 12 apostles at sunset. ||The room itself was delightful. Immaculately clean, air con both up and down stairs. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was beautifully styled. ||There are plenty of little cafe’s and restaurants about a 2min walk around the corner from Port - Real Pizza was lovely!||Check out was equally easy. If you are travelling the Great Ocean Road I’d highly highly recommend Port o Call. Port Campbell is really really delightful little town about 10mins from 12 apostles. If we ever find ourselves there again, we’ll be sure...

After visiting the Twelve Apostles and other scenic spots, we left Port Campbell National Parks and found this gorgeous motel on the Great Ocean Road. We took the last room available and was sceptical about the price charged. Once entered, it did impress us. It's a two-storey apartment. Two bedrooms on the loft. One king size double bed. Two twin beds were available. Downstairs were the sitting and dining areas plus a self-contained kitchen. An exclusive garden. Free wifi. Free on site parking. Spacious, modern furnishings, well equipped, clean and tidy. Got everything needed. Exceeded expectations for an overnight stay. Highly recommended. If we would travel again here, this motel would definitely be the first choice.

We really enjoyed our stay in Room #5 (i.e the family room) at the Port O Call in Port Campbell. The Port O Call is conveniently located along the main street in Port Campbell, with just a few-minute walk down the road and you will find yourself at the beach. Jarrod, one of the owners, was very welcoming when we arrived and gave us some great advice on where to eat and some places to go. Excellent room service. The room itself could have slept up to 5 people if need be and had lovely interior. Please feel free to look at the images attached. We weren't expecting a pull-out lounge downstairs but nonetheless it was still a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend staying at the Port O Call, Port Campbell.
