Worst place I have ever stayed at! Paid $350 for one night for a room that sleeps up to 5 for 4 of us. Got into the room and met with a damp and urine smell. Holes in walls that were patched up with masking tape, dirty carpet, furniture, sheets ECT. Curtin's torn with stains and mould, bathroom smelled like it had not been cleaned. The whole place falling apart, and not inhabitable condition. One of the beds had no sheets and not made, had to go ask for sheets and met with upset as there was only 4 people! And then given a stain covered duvet . Went and complained to the manager and told him that the room was inhabitable, told that " what do you want me to do about it". I asked for a room change and told that I just had to accept the room in that state as they are the cheapest around! $350 for a night what a joke. Please never stay here it's not worth it! I also have worked in hotels for 20 years and am appalled that the manager thinks this is ok to charge people for this room. He did not care at all.

A lovely motel close to Royal Brisbane Hospital & the heart of Fortitude Valley. Book direct with the owner Hans (a great bloke who couldn't help us enough) & if possible, he will give a free upgrade to a villa style room. Walk into the villa & you'll find a large(ish) lounge & kitchen with cutlery & crockery (plates, bowls etc). Upstairs is a very comfy queen size bed with ensuite bathroom. The only negative was some minor wall damage at the top & bottom of the stairs that were waiting for repair/renovation (see photo). It didn't worry us. All we wanted was a bed for 1 night close to RBWH for a surgical appointment as we live 7hrs north of here. All in all I can highly recommend the motel for your next Brisbane trip. Cheers!

When I arrived to check in, the man behind the desk was rude and unwelcoming. Walked into the room and instantly got hit with the smell of cigarettes and damp/mould. There was open wires in the old air conditioner, the bathroom exhaust fan was filthy, toilet was not clean (urine and used toilet paper) and the wall looked like someone had angrily punched it. After 10 minutes I decided to check out and cancel my accomodation due to my asmtha flaring up from the smells of the room. Attempted to open the window to air it out but the noise on the street was loud and lots of bugs flying in. Got a gorgeous apartment at Oaks for $15 more than what I paid for this dump.

I stayed from the 4th - 5th of October 2023, I booked and got a basic room with a balcony (Room 18). Serviced and cleaned, windows have no fly screens, not that it was really an "issue." The shower was good, and there was decent pressure but not a wide spread, again not really an "issue." The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work. That I noticed. 1 Electric gate to enter and exit. You'll need to call reception to get in as you arrive. Phone number on gate. (Bit of a hassle if you ask me. Should be able to park up outside and walk into reception without making a call.) Small and tight parking spaces, but not going to complain considering you'll have to pay on the street if you find a parking spot. If you drive a 4wd that's lifted and has a roof rack with things on top, you may not be able to drive in and will have to lark on the street. I had my Hilux 2in lift 32in tyres with a toolbox on the back, awning on top, and I just made it in. There are no signs on maxium height at the gate. (Wouldn't hurt to have a sign saying maximum height of vehicles, and you enter the gate. Damage tp yours and others property could be avoided.) 2 stairways up to the first floor, the main stairway being through reception or the 2nd in the car park. Although the 2nd stairway may only be passable via the 1st floor if the manager or workers close the door of a night. (Lock on the outside unlocked in the inside.) You'll have to use the 1st and main stairway. Wifi available, tv has netlfix and other streaming services as well as normal TV channels. Air-conditioned. Small pool and...

The manager was the rudest person and was completely uncontactable. The hot water wasn't working, the property is clearly damaged and is in need of maintenance, bathroom was not even properly cleaned, wasn't given the wifi instructions, it's winter and there wasn't even a doona on the bed, a used one was in the cupboard and I would never stay there again. Manager claims that the water was working and I turned the wrong tap, which clearly only an idiot would believe as all taps were testing including the shower. As a accommodation supplier myself, I was disgusted mostly by the service but the facilities are completely run down. Manager refused to give me the owners information. Will be lodging a formal complaint and also notifying the Brisbane City Council. Manager tried to lie after I left at 7am to go and find a shower somewhere that worked, he tried to tell me there was no issues and lied that it was working after I left which isn't true. He clearly has a defective room that he rents out. As I booking.com.suppplier myself (with 10/10 reviews), I am deeply disturbed that he is allowed to operate on booking.com. Absolutely shocking. I am sure the only reason why he said that is so he didn't have to issue any form of refund. As a justice of the peace and a accomdation supplier, this isn't something I would ever make up. This is my very first bad review for somewhere I have stayed. I will be contacting the council, the owners and telling everyone I can not to...

No longer a Comfort Inn - Contact them direct to book as the website is not under control of the owner, and when you search on it only other C.I. properties are displayed. Avoid any other booking sites and book direct by phone for a better price like we did, it was worth making the phonecall.||The good points...|- Happy with our room and price|- Location very good not much of a walk from Fortitude Valley Station|- Our booking had 'renovated room' and certainly had no issues of note.||The less than perfect points...|- No pedestrian entry, you have to enter via a garage gate and until you've checked in you have to ring their phone number (displayed on the gate) to be let in the first time. |- Johann isn't what I'd call the most gifted people person. We had no issue, but speaking for myself it wasn't a warm welcoming kind of interaction.|- Have to pay a $100 bond to get a second key. Probably at least partly due to a key also needing a proximity tag to get in/out of the garage door and those won't be cheap if one goes missing. ||Would definitely stay again. I think it's a great balance of location and cost, and now I'm clear on how the entry and exit stuff...
