the treatment from abs (manager on the night on 16/11) was disgusting. yes we were offered a refund for the karaoke room but that didn’t take away from the fact that me and a friend were turned away for being ‘too intoxicated’ when we simply weren’t. I encourage you to rewatch the security footage and see two friends trying to find a karaoke room in an establishment they’ve never been in before, NOT two disorderly patrons. I’ll note that friends watched as guests made the same mistake but for some reason me and my friend were barred?? now I was given the option to meet my friends at the venue then leave from there but given I had chipped in for THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS worth of karaoke I was going to sit and watch my friends enjoy the karaoke that I, once AGAIN had paid for. it seemed that abs didn’t care for any explanation, just wanted me and my friend out of the establishment. I repeatedly told her I had ran to the venue for a booking from felons, hence the sweat so maybe that was taken as the ‘proof’ I was too drunk? I don’t know but seriously her adamance to kick me out felt very much personal. and absolutely hate to pull this card but being autistic nights out aren’t something I frequently do for obvious reasons making this even more disappointing. my disability (reluctantly) was noted to abs and the security guard incase this was part of the misunderstanding but once again no explanation was good enough. so much more I could touch on but seriously disability aside I have never been so disrespected. We're from interstate and really wanted to give Netherworld 5 stars as they support small artists, there was an awesome selection of games and the food was decent vegan fare. Bartenders were also friendly and the bald man with lots of tattoos was lovely and served people quickly.

Unfortunately, the customer service from the Asian girl at the diner was so poor that our group was confused why she was working there. (Only mentioning her race for management identification, half of us in our group are also Asian.) She snatched the buzzer out of our hands and when we asked politely for cutlery (as she hadn't refilled the cutlery and was just standing there glaring at everyone in her vicinity like she was forced to be there) she rolled her eyes at the person who asked and angrily stocked the cutlery... Like girl, we just wanted to eat why are you taking your crap out on customers????

90% of people there were amazing but there were also a few people walking into other patrons blind drunk and bashing their shoulder into many people. From other reviews it sounds like they would usually be quite strict about this so maybe we were just unlucky that night.

(Please note that I have severe social anxiety and am autistic and one person in our group has a mobility disability. We came here thinking it was inclusive and we would feel welcomed.)
