This development is a shining example in Brisbane of a transit-oriented development that connects public transport, offices, and commercial shops, including fast food outlets, cafes, and a supermarket. It underwent a refurbishment during the Covid pandemic and now boasts an even more aesthetically pleasing design than before. However, there is still room for improvement. The most glaring issue is the absence of toilets in the mall. I have searched for them to no avail, and it seems that the only option is to purchase train tickets and use the restrooms at the Fortitude Valley station. This may be due to concerns about the high prevalence of homeless and drug-addicted individuals in the area. Nonetheless, I believe that this type of "railway mall" should be promoted in Brisbane as it offers great convenience and helps to reduce the city's carbon footprint. Unfortunately, so far, only this mall and Toowong Village have adopted the TOD model, which is a shame.

The bathrooms while being actively cleaned by the attentent were in poor disrepair. All the mens toilets had broken and dislodged seats and one stall was missing a door and when i walked in had to see a poor man using it hiding his shame as it was the only option to use in a busy station. The handycap toilets was also locked permanently requiring a security officer to allow access at any given time. How ever long that might be before they able to arrive

That is, it’s inside Fortitude Valley Station and quite versatile for the passengers getting on or off the board here. There is a Woolworths Metro, BWS, food court accompanied by multiple fast food restaurants, ramen, Gong Cha, Asian supermarket, fitness centre, and a 7-11 on the front gate.

the disabled bathroom here has been broken and entirely inaccessible for more than 2 months, probably longer, the changing room has also. it looks like theyre monitored via a now defunct entrance camera. its infuriating how long these toilets have been ignored despite the fact it is one of the most populace stations in brisbane. ive tried to use these bathrooms on multiple occasions and each time find they're out of service. pro tip: dont use verification cameras for disabled bathrooms if none of the intercom systems are ever going to be manned, its extremely dehumanizing to think at one point i would have had to have asked for permission to use the bathroom and even moreso that instead of fixing the problem they just decided disabled ppl dont need bathrooms. theres a previous complaint here from a care worker making the exact same complaint from...

Conveniently located right in front of the Fortitude Valley train station entrance/exit, this food court has a variety of cheap and tasty eats. The Japanese stall has a curry special where you can add extra meat for free. Mr Curry has a happy hour special where meals are $5. There is a KFC. Pie Face has recently been replaced by Rosario's. There is a pedestrian bridge out of the food court into McWhirter's and there are public toilets beyond the Go-Card machine. There is also a grocery store and a chemist's in the same area and a...
