My car was damaged while parked by another guest at the hotel. I had never met them. On their last day, they had thrown a milkshake on my car and left a dent on the door. I provided the staff the dates, details of the car and location of the parking spot, to Michel Kabamba and asked if he could look at the camera to see the event . He said they'll look into it, and I got no response. During a follow up, they just said they'll try and look into it but it's now a few months passed.
I then approached their office a few months later and I was verbally abused by Andy Nie the manager. He accused me of fabricating stories that my car was damaged there, and when I told him I'm trying to pay for a solution to protect my car out of my own pocket, I hurt his ego and he threw a temper tantrum. He began belligerently yelling and stormed off.
Never met such an unprofessional inconsiderate staff in my life. My car is being damaged on a monthly basis, and I'm offering to pay for a solution to prevent this. Yet you would think was Andy Nie's car being vandalised by the way he behaves.
As for Michel, either he is too lazy to look into who is vandalizing other people's property or he probably takes pleasure in seeing people's belongings being damaged.
The place is run by sad individuals.
Clearly shouldn't be working in this field if he is lacking basic communicational skills, has zero empathy and logic to solve basic problems. He spends more effort getting angry than thinking about how he can solve a problem.
I also left my belongings within my car space as I had a shoulder injury. Upon returning the cleaner had stolen my tyre gauge. The staff explained that we're not to leave belongings in...
Read moreThis was the worst experience to have to deal with after a long hard day of travel with heavy luggage in tow. I was lucky enough to not have to work out how to open the door, simply followed someone inside. Was apalled to find that there was noone to check in with (8pm). I had to use an automated kiosk and at first it told me that my reservation could not be found (it did the same to the bloke I followed in). I had to call a (local) phone number and be told a new reservation number by someone with a very thick accent. Next I had to find where to use the access code to get my key from - very poor signage. Found my key eventually and then unfolded a piece of paper to say I wasn't even going to stay in this building, that I had to find another building (St Paul's Tower) somewhere, somehow. I was about to look at the fire escape map when the helpful fellow I'd followed in came back from his room and helped me, having stayed there often he was aware of it all. I had ordered a pizza to arrive around the time I checked in so I then had to work out how to juggle my luggage, the door security and the pizza box. Thank goodness someone else walked out at just the right moment and I didn't have to try to navigate the security system to get inside. Eventually made it across the underground carpark to the elevator to go up to my room but then had to fish my key out of my pocket again because the elevator wouldn't work without it... I don't travel often so this wasn't obvious and wasn't signed. Worst...
Read moreI stayed 2 nights in a one bedroom apartment on the 10th floor. After hours check was a little confusing to find and I had to call the assistance number and was helped by a passing guest but once at the check in kiosk it was a very easy process. The onsite parking was fantastic, definitely a necessity for a stay in the city. The parking is well lit and well signed which was great and is reasonably priced. The apartment was lovely with everything you need for a short or long term stay. The kitchen facilities were great with a full sized fridge, good stovetop and basic equipment. There is a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer in the apartment. The bathroom was great, nice decor and a good shower with multiple options available on the showerhead. The whole apartment was tastefully decorated and the linens were good. The bed was good although a little firm for my taste All interactions Ii had with staff (cleaning only) were very pleasant and helpful. There are a number of dining options nearby along with a supermarket just down the street. Although there is a new build going on next door I heard hardly any noise. I probably wouldn't say it is the best area to walk around at night but the actual building is secure. I enjoyed my stay and had gotten an amazing rate through Agoda, would definitely stay again. I was a bit nervous after reading some Google reviews but I found the apartment...
