Sites are close to each other and all sand. Maybe difficult to plant grass if the park is practically built on a sand dune so close to the beach. But around the barbies they did it. Main amenities, laundry and camp kitchen are at one end of the park. As we were at the other end we had to walk a long way through the maze like streets. Barbies have no sinks. There were very small and tight amenities closer to our site. Our site itself was just at the metal fence behind which there's a road which is busy during the day and evening. Reception lady claimed it wasn't. On the other side of the park you hear the almost constat noise from the airport. The tropical gardening advertised is rather poor, the fence to the road is blank, a few bushes or so would have been nice to make it look friendlier. One part around the camp kitchen looks like an overflow or recent addition without trees and shade. There's an absurd and smelly parade of rubbish bins next to the main amenities. The lady at the reception wasn't too nice, twice saying "thank you" and looking into her computer to get rid of me while I was still talking after a fast check in process. Seemed to be too busy. Altogether not enough for the price. Maybe the two other parks near cable beach are better. Next time we would try them.

We have enjoyed a fantastic stay at this beautiful caravan park for 5 weeks, the staff are amazing, friendly and most helpful Special mention to Monica the manager who helped us out from day 1 we were a week early because of unseasonable rains and she was able to accomodate us on the same site for our whole duration that was a great job done Monica. The reception staff in Karla, and Lotty again so helpful and friendly when we had a request The maintenance gents in Nick and Mick just top fellas always moving around the grounds and helping out customers when needed Lyn and her team of people who look after the cabins always had time for a chat The parks location is 10/10 close to the beautiful cable beach , Divers tavern, general store and walking distance to restaurants The amenities are always very clean, nice shady sites on the main and no thorough fare traffic making the experience all the better as no vehicles are driving up and down roads Very good swimming pool and ambience all leaning to a very well run park and relaxing time had by guests Our time here was so good we have booked again for next year 10/10 from us Peter and Bev Perth

From the moment we arrived at RAC Cable Beach we were greeted by the lovely staff and could go and pick our site as it was coming out of peak season. The park was clean, very presentable and the groundsman Todd greeted us everyday with a smile and chat about some great places to visit on our travels. The toilets, showers and camp kitchen were very clean and our site 137 was spacious and the pool was so refreshing to jump into with sun chairs and plenty of shade to relax and read your kindle. And the other best part was we were a 2 minute drive from the beach where we would meet mates, swim, have some drinks and dinner and watch the beautiful sunset which never got old. We only booked a week, but we re booked twice as we absolutely loved it there and didn't want to leave.

Arrived with a caravan for a 12 day stay. Requested a specific bay at check in but was sternly told 'we are fully booked' when we noticed plenty of empty bays. We were given a site that was unshaded and full sun most of the day. The bay I asked about on check in, that was a shady site, was empty for 2 days then a Maui van pulled in for a couple of nights, bay empty again for a day, then a caravan arrived. We were very disappointed that we werent allowed that particular bay? After being told that bays can't be reserved when originally booking I don't understand why we weren't given the option of a bay that was vacant on our arrival especially since we were staying for 12 days. I heard a staff member telling a guest that if they were an RAC member they can request a specific bay. I have been a member for 48 years and was NOT given any special consideration. The park states it is pet friendly but there are NO dog poo bags anywhere in the park. Luckily I arrived with plenty in tow. The park states it is smoke free, however we saw several people smoking on the grounds and other guests at the park make remarks about those rules not being followed. The park was busy and the ablutions where not a nice place to visit. Since there where so many people at the park it would have been appropriate for more frequent cleaning of the ablutions. The bays are not easy to get into, very tight, and many people where of the same opinion as us. The roads within the park had a high build up of sand and stones and where in dire need of a road sweep. A very disappointing experience especially since we had such an awful unshaded site when we asked for something different on arrival. For an RAC caravan park the welcoming at check in was not as friendly as we would have expected. Can't think of one good thing to say about the park, would never recommend it to anyone and needless to say will...

We stayed at the RAC during the dry season and were fortunate to get a spot, as most sites are pre-booked every year by the same grey nomads for the entire dry season (June-August). Many of them start leaving around September as the heat sets in, heading south again. Personally, I don't think this should be allowed, considering the remote location. It's frustrating to see sites locked down for such long periods when many families with small children or pets are left having to stay at the overflow camp (pistol club) with limited powered sites and no air conditioning. They miss out on truly experiencing Broome because of this.

The caravan park itself is probably the cleanest in the area, and its location is fantastic – just a 400m walk to Cable Beach’s main area or 200m over the sand dune.

The grounds staff were wonderful. Unfortunately, one lady in the office really let the team down. After multiple rude interactions, I realized it wasn’t just a bad day – it was her usual attitude.

The park is incredibly busy and fully booked, so you end up feeling like just another number. If you leave unhappy, it doesn't seem to matter much, as they’ll easily fill your site with the next person.

Having done a full lap of Australia and stayed at over 100 caravan parks, this was sadly the worst customer service we’ve experienced. Many other guests shared the same sentiment about this one particular office staff member. When we raised a complaint, the manager was apologetic but made excuses for the staff member's behaviour.

On the positive side, the sites are large and shady, and the amenities are modern and clean. Leaves do tend to gather on the sites, but the groundsmen, especially Lee, do a fantastic job cleaning up daily. Lee, in particular, was a true gentleman – always helpful, with a friendly hello and a smile. He's definitely an asset...

LOVE this place!!! We initially dropped off the caravan for a service in Broome, thinking we would get that done and keep heading south but then hubby said why don't we stay in Broome for a day or 2, lets check out a couple of caravan parks and see what they have......first stop was here and the welcome we got was amazing, such friendly staff....even got the usual disparaging comment on hubbys choice of Carlton Footy number plates! :-) 😂 We felt welcome from the minute we arrived.....Jacqui suggested we have a look around the park for the best spot for us to park up, half the park was closed for maintenance but there were still many options at this time of year and we found the spot we wanted so booked for a couple of nights.....definitely no need to check out any other parks!

First day hubby met Todd and I swear they were a match made in heaven.....definitely 2 peas in a pod! Todd was always racing around but always had time to stop and chat to all the guests, albeit the weather or the temperature of the pool! Oh yeah, the pool is awesome, so relaxing, sometimes the temp was too hot but it was still nice to chill out listening to the local radio!

In the end we booked for an extra week, too nice and very comfortable! Highly recommend this place.... we even had breakfast twice at the Cafe adjoined to the park. Overall I give 100% (We did talk to other amazing folks/workers here but I have forgotten your names sorry....the guy I chatted to about Carnarvon and the lovely girl in the office when I booked for an extra week).

Todd kept us updated with the possible cyclone coming in and had great suggestions for places to stay south of here, what a gem he is!

The park is amazing, clean ablutions, great sites, shady spots, friendly staff! Todd us an...
