Port Douglas Apartments — Hotel in Port Douglas

The room was spotless, spacious and well designed to make you feel comfortable and at home. It had all the essentials you would need to make your stay just perfect. The decor of the apartments were in-line with the actual setting of the apartments - a real tropical feel.||Robyn and Sonya were great hosts - warm and welcoming. Due to Cyclone Jasper, the water situation was precarious. However, Robyn called us the day before our scheduled arrival, to give us the opportunity to cancel or defer our booking. We appreciated this very much and went ahead with our booking and we were very happy we did. We were armed with a bucket (just made it more of an adventure for us :)). Thankfully, the water was back on in the morning so everything was fine. ||The apartments are perfectly placed 50 yards to the 4 mile beach and to the main run of restaurants. ||It was a great stay for us in Port Douglas and would definitely return.||Thanks...

We had our fingers crossed when we arrived during a heavy rain to our Port Douglas Apartment because we usually go with larger brand name hotels. We were greeted by the owner who, while helping us with our luggage, assured us that the rain was only temporary. Our room was clean, linens were perfect and by the time we got ourselves settled the sun had come out. It's ideally located where Macrossan and Davidson Street meet making it a quick walk to the beach and a great location to start your walk to all the shops and restaurants located further down Macrossan. The husband and wife owners were cheerful and pleasant and obviously worked hard to keep the rooms and the exotic landscaping in perfect shape. I'm so glad we didn't settle on one of the resorts due to the price and the fact that you'd have to hop a car to enjoy the downtown area. Will we stay...

Both Sonya and partner were so lovely when we found we were stranded in Port Douglas due to both roads in and out of Port Douglas being closed due to flooding |They were so fab, they said stay in the apartment as long as you need to and use the facilities! |So understanding and kind. Thank you to you both 🙏 this really helped our predicaments to feel less stressful. ||The accommodation was lovely too especially the air con, we loved the balcony to have our meals outside. |The free communal washing machines and use of the dryers was also a great perk. |Swimming pool was a great temperature, not cold and the jacuzzi was a nice extra. |Bonus also is that the accommodation and facilities were adult only. We love kids but it’s heaven to totally be in a kid free zone when on holiday (leaving kids and grandkids at...
