Our very brief 2 hour stay at Breeze before we left and booked another hotel was disastrous and disappointing. We paid $600 PER NIGHT for a superior ocean view room. There was no view of the ocean, we simply stared at the main road and enjoyed the sounds of the traffic. This room was absolutely nothing like it appears on the website.
The outdoor area was advertised as having a BBQ and we found a dirty sandwich press style unit attached to the wall where a sun lounge was placed for you to enjoy lounging on the main road. Facilities were broken in the room.
Our room was also advertised as a 2 bedroom with an additional room that could be converted to a 3rd bedroom. This "third bedroom" was actually just the lounge room and was completely nonfunctional and unacceptable.
Staff have been completely unhelpful and will not acknowledge that there was anything wrong with the room and will not refund our money for this horrible experience. I have contacted them saying that the pictures do not reflect the true nature of the room but management said it is the same - it is clearly not!
They have even been using fake accounts to review this hotel to pump up their ratings! They used a fake account with my name on the same travel date and room and I apparently had a great time!
All I can say is to stay away from this hotel - everything about it...
Read moreAfter having spent a few nights at another hotel in Mooloolaba that was lacking comfort, my brother and I came across Breeze while looking online for other hotels to book a stay. We were very fortunate to be served in a friendly, timely and hospitable manner by Kim who gave a tour of one of the apartments and accommodated us at such short notice.
The apartment was modern, clean, spacious and had several points of natural light coming in through the lounge, bedrooms and bathroom windows. The kitchen space was user-friendly and the bedrooms very comfortable with the queen sized beds. The TV's in each room had multiple movies installed for selection, a majority of recent releases which was good news for my brother who was keen to sit down and watch "Ralph Breaks The Internet".
The hotel was within walking distance from the beach and the shops and cafes along the Esplanade. Whilst the pool area wasn't massive in size, it was useful for parents with young children and the spa was a relaxing feature.
We would like to extend our thanks to Kim, Kim, Tarleigh and Jen for ensuring our stay was enjoyable. Should we revisit Mooloolaba in the future we will definitely be booking a stay at...
