As soon as I walked in, my eyes were drawn to a beautifully light-colored Negroni, elegantly served with a single, perfectly crafted large ice cube. I turned to my partner and said, âLook, they do the large ice cubes!â For those who know, a proper Negroni demands a single large cubeâitâs the hallmark of attention to detail. In that moment, I knew this place was going to deliver something special.
For some, food is more than just a means to satisfy hunger; it transcends the basic needs of nature. Itâs not simply about knowing how to cookâitâs about knowing how to create.
Rarely do I feel compelled to make such bold statements, but as I sat down and read the menu, I was genuinely excited. This was not just a menuâit was a reflection of true thought, imagination, and personality.
The menu struck a perfect balance, leading me seamlessly toward my choices. While every dish sounded enticing, it was thoughtfully designed, making decisions effortless. It was clear that a great deal of care and personality had gone into its creation.
When the food arrived, it was paced beautifullyâeach dish arriving at just the right moment. The chef clearly understood how to balance flavors and pairings, delivering a cohesive dining experience.
From start to finish, I felt immersed in the chefâs vision. Each dish felt like a glimpse into their thought process, as though I was experiencing their philosophy firsthand. It was a creative journey I didnât want to end.
No single dish overshadowed the others; instead, each stood in its own light, perfectly portioned and presented with the finesse of someone who has spent years mastering their craft.
To summarize, this is an establishment that embodies service, flavor, philosophy, heart, and soul. It excels in the small detailsâthe one percentersâthat elevate it above the rest. Itâs clear this is the result of years of dedication and passion.
That said, I believe thereâs still more to come. The chef is holding back just a touch, and I canât wait to return and see how this place continues to evolve. Itâs already remarkable, but I suspect the best is...

Service 9/10 Johanna is my FAVOURITE
Drinks: 8/10 Very interesting drinks but not to the point of uncomfort. Very happy.
Food: 10/10 Fresh baked bazlama w/ whipped feta, sweet and sour grapes, candied figs, pistachio and thyme: 10/10 Amazing. Candied grapes where incredible. It had the right amount of savory and sweet. Perfectly balanced.
Honey-roasted persimmon, rose pickled beet, whipped labneh, smoked harissa: 10/10 Was surprising to have persimmon being the hero of the dish and it still taste delightfully savoury. That was the dish that almost turned me vegetarian đ
Chargrilled cauliflower, pul biber-yogurt, mandarin esme, crispy chickpeas: 10/10 I always love a cauliflower dish but the chargrilled aspect elevated the vegetable in such a surprising way that every bite seemed to taste different but all working well together. OMG the mandarin esme was the HIGHLIGHT. Lifting the flavours to new hights.
Halloumi, beet chrain, date syrup, sunflower seeds: 10/10 I enjoyed the surprise of the horseradish flavour but it definitely did not overwhelm the dish. The halloumi was perfectly cooked and not too salty
Lamb belly mashawi, smoky eggplant labneh, tomato & walnut B'Zeit, mulberry molasses 9/10 We certainly polished this one off without envy trouble. It was absolutely delicious but kind of outshone by the vegetarian dishes
Harif-charred squid, tirshi, green olive tabouleh, pickled celery 8/10 Definitely tender, the pickled celery was quite interesting. They have certainly done justice to the seafood but out of all the dishes tonight this wouldnât necessarily be the one Iâd gravitate to again. Despite it being...
Read moreFirst, booked a birthday lunch for my partner- opt for a chef tasting with $55/pp this is what we got: 1x share bread, 1x hummus, 1x beetroot condiment, 1x lamb sausage (one piece about 7cm, cut into parts), 1x shredded broccoli and pomegranate, 1x main chicken dish (which has 2pc small chicken) + 2x rosè - We paid total $119 đ
We have so much experience with chef tasting menu in many places, this one just not it. In fact, ruined my partner bday lunch.
Chef tasting menu is about experience, i get it if itâs expensive but man, the server come and just saying the name of the dishes we didnt even know how to eat it, usually the server on chef tasting menu will guide you on how best to enjoy your meal - this one, they said â just eat however you likeâ after we ask her to come back and explain because they went away after LOL đ
No one care to explain the dish served but they say âguided you throughâ on the menu, the irony.
Second, it wasnt a busy place, in fact there were only 3 tables occuppied. However we saw our next food was ready on the pass section as we sit across and it wasnt delivered until 15mins later đ
Everything went off pretty awfully, too bad, I really want to like this place because the taste of the food was okay, not bad, but there just a lot of things that went â?â
If youâre not ready with chef tasting, please dont put it under your menu/selection. Customer pays a lot of money for this and i myself feels like i ve been scammed.
Worst chef tasting experience dont waste your time and money or ruin your special day, go find somewhere else better...
