Absolutely Perfect! A++||Super friendly staff and owners. Multilingual but please try and learn a few words in German when going to the area! Cake and coffee service from 2-6pm in the lounge area. Great place to relax especially on a rainy day. Tv and games to enjoy are available. Honor system wine and beer as well as censoring type machines with snacks and alcohol. Loads of cozy spots to sit and relax throughout the hotel. Guide books available as well as maps and friendly staff with great recommendations. ||In the evening, unwind at the bar. It was so cozy and I feel under utilized. We sat while the brass band played and enjoyed the music without standing in the crowd. Outdoor seating also available. They have thought of everything here!||Room was spacious and clean with a balcony. Separate toilet from bathroom reminded me of my Nana’s house! ||Breakfast was amazing! So many choices! Fresh carrot juice, I mean fresh! Wide variety of everything. As a vegetarian plus I was overwhelmed by the options and enjoyed each morning. Bread was super fresh and delicious. ||Private beach area with lounge chairs and umbrellas with access to the lake. Paddle boards and paddle boat available to use on a first come first serve basis at the beach. Rent towels from the hotel and use the included tote to bring your things there. Perfect after a long day hiking or wondering around town. ||Parking is additional €8 or €14 depending on covered or uncovered. Zimmerbrau is a wonderful traditional Austrian hotel. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful with any questions, and they print up a newsletter you can read each day during breakfast with suggestions for things to do and current events. Speaking of breakfast, it seems Austrian hotels compete with one another to see who can offer the best breakfast, and Zimmerbrau is among the best. They have a nice buffet with good rolls/bread, a nice selection of meats, cheeses, and beautiful cut-up fruit, made-to-order eggs/omelets, nice coffee/tea, and more. The breakfast room is gorgeous, with traditional wood paneling and leaded-glass windows. ||The entire hotel is spotless, and you will see the staff busy cleaning during the day. Or room had a balcony, a unique round bed, and a modern clean bathroom.||The location is superb, right in the middle of the old town, with excellent restaurants within a block or two in all directions. The hotel has a very pleasant and well-shaded private enclosed “beach” a few hundred feet from the hotel, with recliners, a self-service fridge with drinks, and paddle boards and a paddle boat available free to guests.||St Wolfgang is by far the nicest and most happening town on the Wolfgangsee, so this is the place to be. We’ve stayed for a quite a while at the Zimmebrau. And it felt like home. I don’t even know where to start! Everything is exceptional and definitely exceed our expectations. The breakfast is amazing, always natural, local fresh food. The rooms have everything you need and all the furniture is nice wood. We stayed on the 4th floor and our views of the lake and the mountains and the street below was beautiful. Also it is always very clean. all the decorations inside the hotel make it very cozy. From the outside the hotel looks amazing with all the beautiful flowers- everyone is constantly stops by and take pictures. Bath area on the lake is nice and pretty spacious and has everything you need for the swim and lounge. My son and husband were fishing daily😆 and loved it. The hotel is also located right in the middle of the village. But the most importantly is Hans and Alexandra who made our stay so wonderful. They both and so friendly, nice and kind and go above and beyond to help or with whatever guests are needed. Thank you so much!
