Weisser Bär Hotel & Wirtshaus — Restaurant in St. Wolfgang im Salzkammergut

I have travelled extensively around the world and of course, staying in many good hotels. This hotel was super clean, the staff very friendly and welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay. Breakfast best I've had in any hotel. It was very quiet despite the fact we were in a room right over the restaurant area... Drinks and dining most pleasant sitting out on the terrace. We stayed here for two nights as our base during our hike around the Austrian lakes. Hotel is just next to the iconic church in the St Wolfgang. Its central location allows easy access to the main shopping strips and restaurants and cafe. We were warmly received by the friendly receptionist and check in was a breeze. We called to book and we asked if they can do a discount for us. Instead of just replying that they cannot do any discount the guy told me that "we are in Austria here, not in Israel or some similar country so we cannot make discounts". This was very rude and very racist. Hotels are also for tourists and not only locals so you have to respect tourists.
