BBQ King — Local services in St. Wolfgang im Salzkammergut

Encouraged by good reviews, I decided to go to this Imbiss and order some burger to go. My choice was a very simple Cheeseburger.

Taste 3/5 - While on the grill, smell was very nice. I enjoyed craving for my burger to be done. Later when i opened my to go box, I was a bit shocked how much the smell has changed. Taste was a bit of a let down after all this reviews. I ordered well done, got a medium done meat patty, only one slice of questionable cheese and cabbage that is not on the menu. I personally like cabbage but not in a burger. Sauce was plain ketchup and mayo. One slice of tomato, a bit of lettuce and i did not taste any onions like I should have, according to the menu. I definetly had better burgers. Size was medium.

Service 2/5 - cook was outside talking on the phone as there was nobody inside. I was not greeted when I came in not even after he went inside. I spent there 10min listening to him talking on the phone trough headphones in turkish language while he was making my burger. In the end, not evwn thank you, no good bye, nothing. I gave him 2 out of 5 just for smiling, nothing else.

Location is a bit in the alley, trick to find without a phone or a map. I would say also a 3/5.

Overall 3/5. Would not recommend this place to anyone who likes burgers. They also have kebab, maybe...

Well located. Houses about 15 at a time. Serves fast and a lot of quantity but the burger breads are not soft. The smoked chicken tasted good. Rest of the fillings were standard raw veggies. Not really inexpensive but on the higher side when compared to the big brands. Overall there is no reason to come back to this place for the kind of food that they serve, it is just run of the mill. Unless you are too hungry and there is no other place to go elsewhere come...

Fancy a good burger for a decent price? BBQ King Burger is more or less the only place in the Wolfgangsee area where you can get one. Be sure to check the opening hours on Google or Facebook. Like most places Sankt Wolfgang they close early...
