I recently had a great stay at the Transamerica Executive Jardins. The hotel is in a great location in the Jardins area of Sao Paulo and is a close walk to many restaurants, Beco de Batman and other sights. I Had a good room with a nice view of the city. The hotel staff was friendly, accomodating and helpful and there always was at least one person who spoke English at the front desk. I would especially like to thank Caroline for being so kind, helpful and wonderful any time I asked her for any help or assistance. She really went out of her way to help me. I would also like to thank Dennis. He also worked at the front desk and was very nice and extremely helpful. Finally, special thanks to Adilson who worked in the dining area. He was very kind, spoke perfect English and really belongs working at the reception/front desk area so he can greet, check in and work directly...
Read moreThis hotel has a great location, but I wouldn't recommend it for any business traveler. The wi-fi is so slow that it's practically unusable (most of the time, pages time out before they load, and if they do, it's often in HTML). I had this issue in the lobby, on the rooftop and in the room, so I think it's everywhere in the hotel.||||Acoustics are poor (i.e. you can hear your neighbor and the AC unit is very loud) and I was overcharged at checkout for the minibar. When I noted this, the front desk agent suggested bringing me a bottle of water in compensation, which is an odd way to solve the issue.||||The breakfast is pretty good (hence 2 stars), though the electricity went out the second night so all the hot food was in fact cold. Friendly service in the breakfast area though.||||I might consider if they fix the internet, but even otherwise, I'd call this hotel...
Read moreThe hotel did not have my reservation when I arrived. They seemed to be very disorganized. I showed then the information from an email confirmation that clearly had the price and room description. They said it was a problem of Hotels.com. They wouldn't let me in without repaying which I did not agree to. They told me that they would not, but the next morning I saw that they had charged my card with more than double the rate. I went to the desk and they told me that they had found the reservation and that it was already paid (as I had known). They told me that the second charge was a mistake of an employee but this had nothing to do with the hotel. I did not like the manner that they handled the matter and asked to leave after one night. They would not help me sort out the refund...
