After having a good a good time last year, we tried our luck this year. Unfortunately, this year was awful. The last 3 mornings, they didn't even fill the breakfast table and we stood hungry. The refrigerator was off the plug and it was smelly and we skip using it. The cleaning lady didn't bother changing our sheets for 3 days in a row and she didn't even make our bed for our last night, for many days we lack of toilet brush because they took it and our room was full of cobwebs and spiders. We complaint about it and the woman in the reception in the beginning told us that she can clean it for us, but we refused, we asked for refund and she called the manager because the owner stays hidden, of course he said that this can't be done and the least they could do was to move us to another room.. The other room had cobwebs as well (behind the curtains) and there was NO heat at all for -5. They a/c wasn't working and we were given an electrical heater. Apart from that, when we said that we'll complain about the hygiene and the lack of English in the evacuation plan, whenever we can either in the E.U. law either in their own country, they sent us a mail threatened us that we "vandalize" their rotten room. Very disappointed with all this. Also, when we asked to call us for a taxi, the brunette woman in the reception told us with big irony in her speech that is too close and this is Bulgaria AND WALK, and I told her: I pay, find me a taxi ... They only care about hot warming money and nothing more... Better sleep on a hostel rather than this hotel...

The worst hotel I stayed in. The tablets indicated 24/7, in fact, the admistrator sleeps. To get into the hotel at night you need to call the Bulgarian phone number. The service is terrible, the administrator rough, does not perform his duties, does not know how to work with people. The cheapest number costs 25 euros, old and smoked numbers. Employees look neat, dirty clothing, a breathtaking smell. The hotel employee humiliated me by nationality, such people must be punished. I don't recommend. The employee is not able to inform the password from Wi-Fi, by the way write it down 17072001.

Way too expensive for the quality offered. No way this is a 3-star hotel. Cleanliness was ok (compared, for example, 3-Stars hotels in India. Rooms were better in India, but cleanliness in Bon Bon was better). The fan was falling apart. The toilet was not flushing most of the time. The shower was broken. There was no toilet paper holder. The furniture seemed old. No fridge, no tv, no hairdryer, no wardrobe. For one night is ok. The staff was nice. The bathroom was big, and there was a shared balcony. I will definitely not come back for this price.

We were not expecting 5 * as we could see that the rooms were tied and were dated , But you do expect the room to be clean . The cleaning was below any standard I have expected before . The whole room needed a deep clean . We had to wait when we arrived as our room was still being cleaned . All around the sides of the room were thick amounts of dirty that had been pushed towards the walls with a mop as the cleaner had not bothered to sweep first .The windows were filthy the frames on the windows were disgusting . There was thick dust on the window selves. Mould on the tiles in the shower . The water was nice and hot in the shower but the shower panel had come away so the bathroom floor was like a skating ring . I was scared to look at the mattress but when you laid on the bed you were laying on the base it only had a couple of springs between myself and my husband . And the blanket that was on my bed was disgusting I would not have let my pet sleep on it . No lights on in the lounge when you came in at night as they were not working . The main man at the desk was lovely , very helpful and very friendly . The other man not so much every time we saw him he was smoking or drinking . This could be a very nice hotel. I was told they have started to renovate . Please start by a deep clean and new mattresses where needed , you will get far less complaints. If you are here over a weekend take ear plugs as there is a club next door with a rock band . And the blinds were falling apart and could not be...

the price is okay and I would recommend it if you're on a bugdet, otherwise not really.

It's a 20-minute walk from the train station, 15 minutes with the bus. The lady at the reception was nice, and we could check in after about 5 minutes (with reservation). We paid 65lev for a double bedroom with a fridge, TV, air conditioning, private bathroom, and a shared balcony. The room was very spacey, but there were more than just a few flaws.

The sliding doors of the bathroom were broken, and it was impossible to completely close them. Even moving them at all was a challenge, so we just left them open halfway all the time. The shower didn't have a curtain, which wouldn't have been a problem if the floors were crooked, but like this, the water can't really flow, so there's a lot of mold.

The refrigerator is moldy too, just like the matress and everywhere you take a closer look. Another reason to buy a new matress would be that you can literally feel every spring, or just a new bed, because when we sat on it, the front beam just fell off, leaving a lot of sharp screws to the open and we had to be careful not to get hurt. There are no real curtains, just those weird stripe-thingy curtains which were, and this might suprise you, also broken and it was very complicated...
