We got there for recommendation of another hotel (the dolphin hostel)||Doing the check in they wanted to keep our passports and we refused, so we gave them a copy and payed in advance (the guy was so rude saying: "show me the money first" ), so we wanted an invoice because we werent starting good as any hotel, but the guy again : " why do you need an invoice?!" But he did it; and then when we asked for the room key, his aswer was: "leave the door open, we have cameras, in case something's missing we can check the cameras"||OF COURSE NOT! So, in not a good way he had to try every single key he had in a black plastic bag until he found it. ||When we tought everyhing was over and have a night sleeping, the noise did not finish until 4 am.. the hotel was now working as a transitory hotel where all the surrounding prostitutes went there with their clients. ||And to finished this nightmare some man started shouting and knocking hard trying to open our door several times. He was trying to steel us in the middle of the night, luckily we didnt open the door (and that we had a key also to lock it)||The next day we tried to speak to someone in the reception but they pretended like they didnt understand us and challenge us to do a bad review as we are doing right now. ||The bad thing, is that we didnt choose this hotel for cheap, was expensive actually. So dont go there, nothing good can happen, they dont deserve the tourist going there. They have enough renting rooms for transitory clients (if you get...

We were delighted to find it spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable for our short stay. ||||Please note: This hotel is under new management (please don't pay attention to older reviews as they are out-dated) and the new managers are wonderfully hospitable, kind, and accommodating.||||Simon has been in the hospitality business for several years and his brother SomOn owns a tuk-tuk and car services so all our needs were provided for. We also appreciated having air-conditioning and free wifi.||||The location is about five minutes walk from the riverside and within easy access to most of the city's attractions. ||||I would certainly recommend this property for a reasonably-priced stay with a warm welcome...
Read moreATTENTION!!! Bed bugs and aggressive hotel owner!!! Upon our return 3 hours after check in we discovered bed bugs on the bed and on the floor of our room. When we told the hotel owner that we would move out he got very aggressive, grabbed me and physically tried to make us stay. He then verbally attacked me and my husband and followed us on his scooter to our new hotel! He harassed us and splashed a liquid over us. We're travelling since 1.5 years now and have NEVER experienced such an aggressive and scary hotel owner. Do yourself a favor and stay away, there are literally hundreds of guest houses all...
