The swimming pool here is great, and the hotel is located in a quiet street away from noise. I’d recommend walking to town or taking a tuk tuk through grab, depending on time. ||||The staff try really hard to accommodate you, and were nice enough to offer us a free late check out which massively helped us out. Sreymey in particular stood out from all the staff, as she was friendly, happy and provided great service all the time! When we got back after dinner she said, ‘welcome home!’ Which was super cute. I know how much energy it takes to give great service all the time, she should get rewarded. ||||The breakfast is massive, and the banana smoothies are fantastic. I think the prices are very reasonable for what the hotel provides.||||The room is big enough, bathroom shower is lovely, my other half says that the service was friendly but slow sometimes and they didn’t always get the orders correct.||||I loved Siam reap, definitely do the Kulen elephant forest tour and only buy a one day pass for ankor! It’s worth two days! Do not waste your money and buy the three day pass, one day of temples is enough. ||||Good...
Read moreAmazing! We stayed at this property for 3 nights and I must say the whole staff makes a huge effort to make you feel like home.
The place itself is so cute, is cozy and it feels like you are miles away from all the city hustle, yet you are just a few blocks from the center. The pool was clean and very fresh even with the 32°C outside! The breakfast included was delicious and so were the a la cart meals we tried.
We don't usually do tours because we don't like waiting around for a group of people, however, they offered a small private tour with a tuk tuk guide for such a very good price (sunrise incluided!). The driver was great, always waiving at us with a smile on his face, drove carefully and spoke good english.
Again, I cannot stress this enough! What it really makes this place amazing is the very young people working in here! They go above and beyond from the very first moment to the last when they all went outside to say goodbye while we were being picked up.
Thank you all so much for an...
Read moreWe have had a wonderful 17 nights in Cambodia staying at the G&Z Angkor Boutique, Chocolate Road, Siem Reap.||||This is a great little 18 bedroom hotel with a very friendly hard working staff, well appointed air conditioned rooms and a decent sized private pool. All of which makes it very good value for money.||||It's also no more than a 10 minute tuk-tuk ride from Pub Street which means you stay in a quiet location but can get pretty much anywhere within Siem Reap town in 15 minutes by tuk-tuk.||||There are good restaurants a few minutes walk away (Haven being our local favourite) and also Wat Chocolate are pretty much opposite.||||We have stayed much longer than most visitors to this area as we came to see our friends, visit the temples and relax - all of which we've achieved.||||We're sad to be leaving which in our book means we've had...
