The location is within walking distance to Siem Reap Old Market & Night market.
Ambience is romantic & the interior is absolutely stunning!
The price point is ok for the food, which is not very expensive compared to other restaurants with similar feels.
Service is generally decent but the food took some time to arrive after ordering, which might be annoying for some. The timing can be improved. The service crew however, is great - friendly & accommodating 👏🏻
Food - good presentation & portion. Detailed as below on what we ordered for 2 pax 4.5/5 for Appetiser: Shared, Baby Shrimp Fritters with Dipping Sauce. 3pc per plate. Crispy texture and well seasoned, albeit it's slightly more oily. The dips is to die for, the tanginess helps to balance out the oiliness bit of the fritters.
4.2/5 on Individual Main: Fish Amok is creamy & rich with flavour, but I wish there was more fish in the broth. Beef Lok Lak is decent & the sunny side up texture was perfectly executed, but otherwise nothing extraordinary. Both are served with rice.
2/5 on Drinks: Non Alcoholic Beverage. Unfortunately, the lemonade didn't do much for us. We ordered 1x Dragonfruit Lemonade & 1x Mango Lemonade. We could barely taste the other fruits from both drinks. Which is surprising for Mango because it generally has such a distinct flavour and could have paired well if done right. The lemon flavour was overpowering and since the drink portion is quite plenty, we had a hard time finishing them. We ended up finishing with mineral water to wash it down. It would have been better if it's just marketed as regular lemonade.
Otherwise, it was a nice dinner with fantastic ambience, decent pricepoint as well as...

Old Maison Eatery welcomes you with architecture that captivates from the very first glance: a refined blend of colonial art deco and modern reinterpretation, perfectly attuned to our times. It’s a space that invites you to linger.
The culinary offering is a true tribute to traditional Khmer cuisine. The chefs have managed to reimagine classic recipes with a contemporary touch, while remaining entirely faithful to their original spirit. Each dish is a sensory journey that beautifully bridges past and present.
The wine list, as is common across much of Cambodia, focuses mainly on French and Australian labels. As a Spaniard, I can’t help but wonder why our wines don’t travel more widely… though of course, that’s not the restaurant’s fault—it’s simply that we Spaniards still haven’t mastered the art of self-promotion 😅
The service is impeccable: warm, attentive and precise—traits that seem almost second nature in this wonderfully hospitable land. Special mention must go to the perfectly timed pace between courses—an often-overlooked detail that truly enhances the dining experience.
Undoubtedly a place to return to, and to recommend with...
Read moreI visited Old Maison Eatery after seeing it recommended a few times online, and it was awesome!. As a solo traveller, eating out can sometimes feel a bit awkward or isolating
From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm and welcoming, but a special shoutout has to go to Kane, who really made the experience stand out. He noticed I was travelling alone and took the time to chat with me, not just about the menu, but also about places to check out in the area. His local knowledge was seriously impressive and genuinely helpful.
What I really appreciated was how well Kane knew the menu. I ended up telling him to surprise me with whatever he thought I should try as a tourist and I’m so glad I did. Everything he brought out was great .
After such a great meal, I was even persuaded to stay for a few of their drinks , and it was the perfect way to finish the night.
Honestly, I’d come back for the staff experience alone it was that good. Add to that the amazing food and great...
