We stayed at Peak Elite Boutique for 4 days and I have to say the staff was umbelievable.
It started very badly for us as our family was sick coming to Siem Reap and my son even vomited on the room floor literally seconds after our arrival. The staff quickly cleaned the area , with a smile.
So the first 2 days my son, then my wife was sick and we were all weak, plus we had the siem reap March heat to tolerate. We ate basic food our stomachs could absorb (white rice, noodles, bread) from the hotel restaurant. They were generous in altering the meals to accommodate us.
I need to repeat the staff was perfect. They knew we were not feeling well, and they were so kind. They offered us to contact a doctor. Room service was great, the breakfast was great also. We felt pampered, taken care of.
So we survived and managed to visit Angkor 3 times in the mornings and relax in the pool that is so welcoming under the March heat. Our room was a family room with 3 double beds and a wonderful bathroom. The extra space we had came in handy, as we spent more time than expected in that room, trying to recover. There is a TV, which is a bonus, and we could watch some movies on a USB stick while eating. You could login to your Netflix if you want and there is youtube.
This hotel is great for the price point: comfortable, clean, with a good restaurant and pool. But most importantly, the staff is fabulous. We got 4 stars hotel service. It checks all the boxes. They also can get you a massage in your room, a driver of course, book tickets to the circus, etc. Everything was offered effortlessly.
2 minor things to improve would be : our AC was not super efficient. Our room was not hot, but we would have liked it a bit cooler. May be it is because the room is quite big or cause It was 40 degrees outside during the day. Second thing is our room being the last one of the corridor, Wifi was a bit unstable on one side of the room. Not a big deal, but in 2024 it is getting more important to have reliable wifi. A simple repeater could fix this issue. There should be an easy solution for this.
Overall, We would have liked to see more of Siem Reap besides Angkor, but it was a really good thing that we were at this hotel while we were sick. We cannot thank them enough, they were willing to help us in any way, whatever we needed.
Thank you Elite boutique, We are very grateful for the way you...
Read moreDuring our trip to Siem Reap, we stayed at the Peak Elite Boutique. I would recommend this beautiful, welcoming, and affordable hotel to everyone. Located in the city center, the hotel is surrounded by breakfast spots, restaurants, pharmacies, and markets. It is also within walking distance of Pub Street, making it incredibly convenient.
The hotel rooms are very spacious and come with a balcony surrounded by lush greenery. Breakfast is served in a lovely little restaurant, where every morning, we enjoyed our meal under the warm sunlight while watching people by the nearby swimming pool. It was a truly relaxing experience.
If you plan to visit Angkor Wat, the hotel can help you book a car or tuk-tuk. The private transportation rates are very reasonable, and to our surprise, the drivers thoughtfully provided cold water and refreshing towels during each part of the journey, greatly alleviating the fatigue of traveling.
It wasn’t just the drivers—the warmth and attentiveness of every staff member made our stay even more memorable. The outstanding service is the highlight of this hotel. Every staff member greeted us with smiles, showing both enthusiasm and professionalism, making us feel completely at home.
This hotel truly enhanced our Angkor Wat adventure and allowed us to experience the genuine friendliness and hospitality of the Cambodian people. It made our stay in Siem Reap...
Read moreI had read the hotel reviews and chose it because they were good. The only problem that came up was its distance from the city center. But for some people, this was an advantage. I stayed there for 2 days and really loved the room. But there was one negative point for me, and I decided to share it with you. I like to swim, and when I choose a hotel, I take into account cleanliness, quietness, security, and a pool. Everything was fine. I checked into my room, packed my bags, and went to the pool for a swim. I put on my swimming goggles. After a few minutes, I started to feel a strong, sour lemon taste in the water. I thought it wouldn't be a problem and kept swimming. The strong taste started to hurt my lips. I got out of the pool and went online to look up what was in the water. The results of the search said that there was a problem with the pH of the water, too many chemicals. I decided to tell the three employees at the counter. They made that face that they didn't understand and then my tuk tuk driver arrived to take us to the temples, I came back at night and went to the pool again to see if anything had changed and I noticed that the water still had a bad taste. If you are one of those people who doesn't usually use the pool and just looks at it or takes pictures. That's okay! But I'll warn you, the...
