This is a small hotel (I believe 11 rooms, but 4 floors) with nice design (though it probably looked very beautiful when new, now the furniture looks quite used). The staff are very nice and friendly, they make it a 4*, otherwise I would rate the hotel at 3+. Though the faucets in the bathroom and shower looked brand new to me, there was some smell in the bathroom. Combs and tooth brushes were provided, as well as the basic cosmetics - but I preferred to use my own shampoo and hair balm. There is a hairdryer, refrigerator with mini bar, everything for making tea/coffee, two bottles of drinking water. The room has a mini safe and a good door lock, the video cameras are installed on every floor, so it provides the feeling of safety. Yet, my balcony door lock was broken. The breakfast had over 11 options to choose from. It was not abundant, but enough. Tuk tuk transfer from/to airport was included in the room rate (20-25 minutes drive, so no hat and maybe sunglasses are preferred). The hot water in the shower was always available, whenever I needed.||There are some things you might want to consider when choosing this hotel:|- the staircases and the lobby are open air, so behind your room door there will be the city nature with its insects, birds, jecos, bats etc. This especially matters at night, I was on the top floor, and maybe it's better on the lower floors, but they sometimes get quite loud at nights, and would wake me up my first night. So, if you are not a big fan of animals, or will be freaked out of their squeeks/songs - be mindful of that)) also, you might want to take mosquito fumigators, because be when you open the door at night, they will also be there.|-the lightning in the room is not very good at night.|- the Angkor supermarket is one block away, pharmacy is across the road, Devatara spa is not bad and reasonably priced is just one minute away, Madam Moch Khmer cafe is pretty good, and not expensive at all (my bill for the rolls and fresh coconut was $2.5, but the portion was also small). Lots of other food/spa places around, even Bugs cafe.|- about 20 minutes drive to Angkor wat.|- the hotel entrance is not from the main side street, you have to turn inside the street and the path is not quite clean and well lit, it is just a couple of meters walk, so don't be scared that the driver brought to the wrong place. While the pictures look fancy, you would not be able to notice this hotel from...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Monthara Angkor Résidence, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff stood out, making me feel incredibly welcome.

The rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious, and well-maintained, blending traditional Cambodian charm with modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the decor. The view from my room was serene, adding to the peaceful ambiance.

One of the highlights of the stay was the location. Nestled close to the Angkor Wat temples, it made exploring the area extremely convenient. Despite being near key attractions, the hotel itself felt like a tranquil retreat, away from the bustle of the city.

The breakfast options were varied and delicious, offering a mix of local flavors and international dishes. I also had a chance to try the in-house restaurant for dinner, and the food was top-notch, with fresh ingredients and excellent service.

The staff went above and beyond to assist with any requests, including arranging tours and transportation. Their knowledge of the local area was impressive, and they were always eager to ensure I had a pleasant stay.

In conclusion, Monthara Angkor Résidence is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and Cambodian hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap for a memorable and...

I had an exceptional experience at Monthara Angkor Residence Hotel. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Siem Reap, making it incredibly convenient to explore the town and visit the famous Angkor Wat temples.

The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. I appreciated the attention to detail and the thoughtful amenities provided.

One of the highlights of my stay was the tour arrangements. The hotel staff organized everything flawlessly, ensuring I had the best guides and experiences during my visit to the temples. It made my trip so much more enjoyable and stress-free.

The food at the hotel was another pleasant surprise. The restaurant offers a great variety of delicious dishes, catering to both local and international tastes. I especially loved the traditional Khmer dishes!

What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. They are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. They made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived.

Overall, Monthara Angkor Residence Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone...

The hotel has clearly seen better days. The swimming pool had green non inviting water. We had to request a diferent room as the first one had a strong damp smell. The second room was better although still a bit smelly. We didn't have a working TV  or working bedside table lamp, the safe didn't work and the water clogged on the shower. No bottled water in the room but when requesting it I was showed where the water fountain was to do my own refills. The room was not cleaned or beds made in the three nights we stayed there. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. The room was big and the beds confortable with working aircon, which was helpful as it was very hot in town. The staff was friendly and tried to help with our request but serious investment is needed on the building and training staff, otherwise management should consider to close down. To note that there are no lifts so you need to bring luggage upstairs through the stairs.

As it is in the place like a 10-minute walk from a pub street, it is convenient for staying going out. He/she came to pick you up from an airport to the shuttle bus stop, and the mood of the trip rose by the tuk-tuk first experience there. The room was large and was comfortable and thought that the cost performance was very good. Staff was gentle and told me who was weak in English slowly above all and helped you in various ways. I am thankful for breakfast being attached. I could choose some menus, and I liked the fried rice which I ate on the second day very much As I left the hotel early to see the sunrise on Hotel last day, I told if I could not eat the breakfast, but prepared for bread, an egg, a lunch of the fruit. When I visited Cambodia, In addition, I want to use it!

The rooms are modern and well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The pool is impeccably clean, making it a great spot to relax after a day of exploring. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They are incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with a smile.
